Hello, this is just an idea I wanted to put out there so if the band see's this and like the idea then great, if not then that's ok too.
I see a lot of people who would love to meet the band for various reasons, to get autographs, give gifts or in my case to say thank you and hand over a letter of support, love and appreciation to the band.
I think that if given the opportunity that many people would be willing to pay extra to have a after the show VIP meet up where they are guaranteed to meet the band if they have the additional VIP ticket.
Just an idea for fans to have chance to meet their favourite band and a chance for the band to make extra income which the fans undoubtedly would pay.

I have Intel i5 10400 which has Intel quick sync. Previously my config for FFmpeg was "hwaccel_args: preset-vaapi" but I changed it to "hwaccel_args: preset-intel-qsv-h264" since my CPU supports it and thought it would lower my CPU usage. But I am getting these errors in the log.

2024.11.25 14:29 CubicleHalos Tips for better fretboard memorization?

Hey everyone
So over the past few months I've been working on memorizing the fretboard notes. I've been using this videos exercises, essentially it's just playing the notes up and down the strings in different combinations at slowly increasing BPM over time.
I find that while I'm doing the exercises I don't even need to think about most of the notes. Accidentals still take me a second and I'll get tripped up from time to time, but for the most part I can pretty seamlessly play the notes up and down the fretboard within the practice.
My trouble comes outside of it, when I'm writing or playing. I still need to find the notes I'm familiar with and "count" up to the note I'm looking for.
I feel like somewhere I made the mistake of memorizing the pattern and not the notes.
I'm open to any suggestions, thanks!
