So yeah. I play war of rights and holdfast already, same with mount and blade. Those are all fun, but you don't lead the unit formations and such. I have tried a game on roblox (yeah I know roblox lol) called bot commander. I am looking for something similar to that, sort of like conquerors blade if that makes sense?

Never fails. Everytime I activate a 2xp token my next game is a sweatfest. My team can't push, we get spawn camped and somehow every player on their team is immune to the first 3 shots. I get like a billion hit markers but no kills. Meanwhile, I get lasered and my team is also shit.
They don't even try to hide it. Their team will be all high prestige, all computer players, all meta classes. Then, my team will not even be prestige, all console players. Using basic level 1 weapons, camping.

2024.11.25 14:35 Valutin Building a NAS for home, still undecided for the software deployment
Hello everyone.
I have started buying hardware as my N54L is unresponsive (long story short: napp-it, It's been unplug for a while, switching it on, I had the red HP of death, changed the battery, no more red HP of death, managed to boot up once, but now... it's not booting up).
This is for a NAS at home and this is my plan: -Mobo + APU+ RAM -2 2.5 SSD mirrored for system -2 NVME mirrored for data -4 HDD (Raidz 2 for lesser access data and backup)
Users: 2 teenagers (hard google workspace users since they have it at school), wife (became nearly as proficient on using the google suite as my kids... since she is looking over their homework) and me.
Objective: -Backup of files ( RAW pictures, some movie/media recordings) -Firewall/VPN/Adguard with Opnsense (since I am using the same thing at work, this will allow us to access our folders from outside of home) -Plex to share the movies to the TV? Does the tv connect to the server and then I control the UI with the TV remote? I always play video from a pc connected over hdmi. -Backup of phone's pictures folder.
I asked the kids about whether they prefer a browser UI or a share folder, elder said both, second kid asked what's a share folder, so we will go with browser?... Wife... I believe she would be ok with the browser side. My objective is to set it up and for it to be easy enough so that they don't rely on google drive... (believe me, I witness my wife video tape my daughter, then sync it to google drive over the web, so that my elder could access it on the laptop, so effectively a round trip to google servers... then complain it was slow.. for them.. it just works. Asking them to open an app to navigate to a share folder is too complex)
I am still wondering about the OS side. I have experience with Proxmox (maintaining 2 nodes at work, but limited to install VMs and run them) but a lot less with Truenas (installed once at work to just set up some iscsi target for some VMs backup). I see a lot of people praising Truenas.. but I am starting to think... if I really need it or not? all our computers are on the same windows user profile (mine), we don't log in/out. We have separate browser profile and that's all they seeem to need.
My current plan was: Proxmox baremetal VM: OPNSENSE -> in rpool (2.5"SSD) VM: Nexcloud (Memories?) -> rpool, data in NVME on a separate qcow2 VM: Plex -> rpool, data on the HDD VM: Photoprism/Immich (if memories is not enough), rpool, data in NVME. add-on Cockpit: I believe this is enough for me to administer and make a SMB share on both the NVME(short medieum) term + Spinning disk (long term, already considered back-up of files from desktop).
Can Nextcloud/Photoprism or Immich point to data existing on sharefolders from Proxmox or do the data have to be inside qcow? can they all points to the same folders, so multiple way to access the same picture for example? < does it actually make sense?
My objective is to spin down the hard disk when not in use, we very very rarely watch tv anyway and I was planning to do one backup every week of NVME share folder + Nextcloud + Photoprism to the spinning disks or bi-weekly. So, all SSD (2.5 and nvme) are accessible 7/24.
So the sanity check from anyone.. does all of the above makes sense? or Should I just put truenas, share one folder and be done with it... The only thing I think... might be an issue that I overlooked, Proxmox makes backup of entire VMs... can it make something like shadow copies (I think I'll have to read about PVB)? Can I just rely on Nextcloud versioning and keep everything inside qcow? Should I install Truenas baremetal and re-do the whole thing (seems like deployment of nextcloud/photoprism/immigh is easier with datasets)?

My boyfriend has decided to start injecting steroids for gym gains and to look and feel better about himself. Context - when I first got with him 4 years ago he was very fit and healthy naturally we both put on a few pounds over time until he got to a point he was miserable about how he looked, he tried all types of diet and rejoined the gym but this time went a lot harder, he managed to get his weight back down and I am personally very proud of his natural transformation which a lot of lads would look up too, but over the time he started until now his confidence hasn’t come back fully, I catch him staring in the mirror, making harsh comments to himself, constantly looking at other gym lads on TikTok and social media and comparing himself to them and he definitely doesn’t see himself as I view him. I find it really sad he can’t feel confident how he is but now he has decided to take it a step further and has chosen to begin injecting steroids, i told him I am worried and I don’t want him to do it but he is stubborn minded and now I am at a point I would rather know as much as I can to help and support him instead of giving up and still worrying about him as I love him very much.
He mentioned it was going to be Sustanon 250 and I think it’s one injection every 2 weeks, he has tried to reassure me he has “researched” everything and it’s going to be more beneficial than negative but I have also read into it and I am just more concerned if anything. As he hasn’t been tested or prescribed this medication I don’t agree that it can be safe, he said he is only taking this one cycle aswell but if anyone could please let me know any advice on what I can expect, any warning signs to look out for and anyways I can support him to help him (I wish he wouldn’t take them but I don’t want to give up on him)

I saw a different post that reminded me of this but it wasn’t actually relevant enough to comment there. A couple years back, when I was working at mcdonalds, this guy orders a bunch of food for himself and his family in the drive thru. I say “okay, anything else?” And he says “why not throw a Big Mac on there too?”
So I put the Big Mac on the order, because the man asked me for a Big Mac. He pulls up to the window and pays, and then he stares at the receipt for a minute and says “I was joking about the Big Mac.” Like it was obvious. ??????? I asked if you wanted anything else and you told me you did! How was I supposed to know you didn’t mean that one! Should I ask “for real?” every time everyone asks for a menu item now????
Anyway he held up the line forever while my manager got him a refund on his stupid joke Big Mac. I don’t know if I’m autistic or something or if this guy just didn’t get how jokes work but that was a weird day
