As some of you may know, with patch 10.0, we will see a new map rotation, with Ascent and Sunset Leaving the map pool, to be replaced with Fracture and Lotus. I was going through what this could mean for some of my favorite agents, and one thing stood out to me: Jett might be in a bit of trouble. Now, this is purely talking about VCT, I'm well aware that Jett will always be good in Ranked. But for Pro Play, I wouldn't be shocked if she saw a sharp decline in Pickrate going into the kickoff of the 2025 VCT season. Here's why I was collecting pickrate data from some major tournaments that are relevant to my research , and saw that Jett had a:
- 52% Pickrate at Champions 2023
- 29% Pickrate at Champions 2024
- 23% Pickrate at Red Bull Home Ground #5 (2024)
- Raze: 41%
- Jett: 29%
- Neon: 22%
- Abyss
- Bind
- Split
- Pearl
- Fracture
- Lotus
- Haven
- Bind is a *Raze* meta map (87% Pickrate at Champions 2024) - Split is a *Raze* meta map (100% Pickrate at Masters Shanghai & Red Bull Home Ground, Jett at 10% for both) - Fracture is a *Raze/Neon* meta map (From Champions 2023, Raze's Pickrate was 70%, while Neon's was 20%. I believe Neon's pickrate on this map will increase) - Lotus is a *Raze/Neon* meta map (Raze pickrate at Champions 2024: 75%) - Haven is a *Neon* meta map (read below) - Pearl is a *Neon* meta map (read below)
I mentioned earlier that in Champions 2024, Jett had a 29%, and at Home Grounds, it was 23%, but these stats are HEAVILY carried by her pickrate on Ascent, Icebox, and Abyss (In Champs 2024, her pickrate on these maps were 88%, 71% & 79% respectively) And at the Red Bull Home Grounds tournament, her pickrate on Ascent was 92%, on Abyss, it was 60%, and on Icebox, it was 75%...and it amounted to 23% overall. You wanna know what her next highest pickrate map was? 13% on Haven. And that leads me to my next point.
Some of you may be asking, "well what about Haven and Pearl, those are Jett maps" Well, that's a thing of the past, because Neon has completely overtaken her in these maps, as during Champs 2024, Neon's pickrate on Haven was 50%, while Jett's was at 22%. And during Homegrounds, it's even worse, with Neon at 79% pickrate and Jett at a mere 13%. And in the case of Pearl, there was no data to collect on it for Champs 2024, but in the Redbull Homegrounds, Neon's pickrate on Pearl was 80%, while Jett sat at 10% Coming this new episode, the only map Jett will be meta on is Abyss. I highly doubt she will get higher than 15% pickrate anywhere else, and her Overall pickrate will probably be in the low 10's, since Ascent & Icebox won't be there to carry her.
And some of you may be thinking "But wait, they're gonna be nerfing Neon soon" and yes, that may be true, but if you read the statement that they made: "For what it's worth - we agree that Neon is too strong as well. We're working on some adjustments to balance out the parts that feel overpowered while maintaining her grounded movement combat fantasy. These changes are coming in patch 9.11. From this statement, It sounds more like they're going to nerf the frustrating aspects of facing a Neon (i.e. the Full Accuracy while sliding), while still keeping what makes her viable at the top levels. So I don't think Jett can rely on Neon nerfs to save her.
It's ironic too, because just a few years ago, Jett was considered the only viable duelist, leaving Raze and Neon in the dust, but it's about to be the opposite

Obviously i think no one would complain if the Game added some extra biomes. Or maybe more enemies, resources, etc
I'm mostly taking these ideas from the BR maps.
Meteor crash biomes/Alien land biomes
Based on Chapter 1 seasons 4 And Chapter 2 seasons 7 And 8 as well. Biomes that contain meteors And alien spaceships crashed around.
The mobs would be the aliens, the parásites. And maybe theres could be a mechanic where they can jump into the NPCs.
Something else that can make prevence here are the hop rocks. Giving you extra Jump for a time. And maybe even being required to create stuff like the directional bounce pads, a jump charm or a knock back shield.
The cube Monsters are another option for a mob. Maybe even a cube giant as a boss.
Volcanic Biome
From season 8 of Chapter 1. A volcanic wasteland that's uper hot. Obviously it would require having a fresh charm and having some snowberry juices.
You could loot stuff like volcanic rocks, scorched wood, coal. Maybe there can be more explosive crabs here, or even a magma variant of enemies like the skeletons and wolfs, dropping fire claws and scorching bones. As well as the dragon Warriors.
We already have some of season 8 pirste stuff in the Game, and the dessert caves have the lava. so the volcanoes coming could be amazing. Maybe Even have a storm like event where the volcano erupts chuncks of rock and magma.
Coral Castle biome
Yeah, we all know this place wasnt the most amazing. But If it comes down to getting more options, this is great.
We have a couple of water life based skins that can work as mobs or NPCs. We can have corals as resources, a option to find more sand, maybe even the sharks could make a comeback here and give us loot.
Chrome.
Thise isn't much of a Unique biomes. Rather a "invasión" of the ones we know. Portions that have been infected by the Chrome. And you can find chromed enemies.
The Herald could work as a mini-boss of a kind. And have chromed brutes And wolfs to protect her.
Not sure ifbthe Chrome mecánic would work here. So that's why it's a big maybe.
Oriental trip
Since season 6 it's definetly going to be based on Japan, we had Ninjago stuff and we had the whole mega theme in Chapter 4. Why not have a biome like this?
Sakura trees. Wich can maybe work for charms. Theres also options to have the katanas And even the raillings.
I don't have a boss for this área personal se. But maybe the new Chapter will give some grounds.
Or drink more from the asain folclores And add stuff like Yokais.
Wasteland
But If we talk about bosses. Why not a strovger dessert area?
A legit wasteland whit few resources. Forcing you to constantly have áreas to fill water tanks. Sand storms. And Megalodon as a final boss of the área.
This could Even be the place to get a very specific material to create car mods like a battering ram.
These are just very loose ideas. And theres definetly more that could be imagines based off the other seasons (ex, a medieval biome based on the Chapter 4 start, or a "dead land" biome inspired by 6, where theres more skeleton spawns)
