Iā€™ve just removed some old floor tiles in my house, but now Iā€™m left with a layer of tile glue (thinset, I think?) stuck to the floor. Do I need to remove all of it before doing anything else? Or can I just level over it?
If I need to remove it, whatā€™s the best way to do that? And after itā€™s gone, what should I use to make the floor flat and ready for new tiles or other flooring?

Can anyone suggest some good tools to do this? I just want to see how my ASINs rank over a given set of search terms, over time. Ideally displayed on a simple graph.
This is a feature of a lot of larger products (e.g SellerApp) but outside of the free trial I'd have to pay 99 USD / month ! Seems excessive. I just want simple and affordable.

Thanks to this group, my last sip of alcohol was in July and I am still going strong. My drinking had gotten concerning (a few drinks every night + irritable without alcohol) but I hadnā€™t suffered any ā€œrock bottomā€ moments. Simply wanted to cut the habit before it became worse.
The advice I need is for a sibling. I am recognizing the same patterns in them but I believe itā€™s gotten worse than what I experienced personally. Their spouse has even mentioned their concern to both my mother and I recently.
Iā€™m feel like I should say something to them about their alcohol use when I see them at Thanksgiving. I donā€™t, however, want to come off as ā€œdramaticā€ since I no longer drink and push them further away or annoy them to where they wont confide in me.
Any tips for this convo?

Thanksgiving week. Job site is leaving Friday as an ā€œoptional dayā€ for work. (We work off the rolling 40.) Because of this OT will kick in after 24 hours after working Monday-Wed. BUT if you wanted to come in on Friday OT wouldnā€™t start until after 32 hours?? How does this even make sense? Itā€™s legit punishing guys who would be willing to work Friday.
Working 10ā€™s so if I worked Monday-Wed Iā€™d walk away with 6 hours OT, but if I put in another 10, I would walk away with only 8?
Getting ahold of the hall to see the legality of all this, but have any of you ever dealt with shenanigans like this?

Hello everyone, as the question asks, am I able to apply for MIT even after taking a gap year?
I must note that I would be seen as a an international student since I'm not form the USA, but from Serbia.
My grades are mostly A's except for a rough patch in my freshman year of high school.
However, I was also wondering, do I need to take the SAT or ACT for my application? I saw that SAT and ACT are not necessary for the Bachelor of Science in Architecture (Coure 4), for international students but is there anything else that I need to have in order to apply or it that it?
Also, I'm a bit confused about the deadline of the admissions. Is it correct that regular admissions starts December 4th and end January 6th? And would the application in that period of time (2024-2025 application) mean that I would potentially start the school year on campus as of fall 2025?
And one more question, what is a transcript that they are requesting? Since I have finished high school is it just necessary for me to send in my high school grades and diploma? And do I have to translate my degrees as well? Is a verified copy enough or is there something more?
Any suggestions and comments are welcome so don't shy away from criticism. Experience for other international students are also welcome šŸ˜Š

Desde un punto de vista Socratico, la democracia no es para todos, tanto quien gobierna como quienes eligen a sus gobernantes deberian de tener un minimo de nivel educativo. Por ejemplo hablando de los electores, no tendria derecho al voto el joven desempleado y que nunca termino mas alla de la educacion primaria o basica, tampoco la DoƱa de 50 aƱos que no termino mas alla de la educacion secundaria. Unicamente aquellos quienes tienen un nivel Bachiller o Preparatoria podrian tomar decisiones sobre quien dirigira el pais.
Habria elecciones mas limpias, con candidatos mas basados en propuestas, mucho menos populismo y pareciera que mejor direccion de los recursos de una Nacion.
