How is it possible that this individual has the support of KICK?
A week ago, this woman appeared on the most famous news show in Peru, Magaly TV, claiming not only that he physically assaulted her, but also that his mother did as well. She gave statements about all the abuse she endured and even called a respected Peruvian journalist named Gian Franco, who tried to defend and support her by exposing her case.
A few days later, the streamer known as KINGTEKA leaked confidential information during a stream with RONCHASKUN, stating that KICK was in contact with him, telling him he needed to resolve these issues or they would remove him from the content creator program. (KICK COVERING FOR BAD ACTORS).
Two days later (yesterday), the same woman appeared on KINGTEKA's stream claiming that EVERYTHING she had previously said was a lie and that she only used the news outlet because she was "angry."
It’s clear that there’s a financial arrangement between these two people (especially since the reporter recently stated that when she appeared for the interview, she repeatedly mentioned wanting civil compensation). They’re manipulating information and accusations to prevent him from being removed from the content creator program.
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT KICK... continues to support and fund someone who, together with their partner, manipulates accusations and mocks all the abused women in Peru, portraying them as gold diggers who retract their claims in exchange for money, saying their accusations were false and driven solely by anger.
They mock Peruvian authorities who, by prioritizing her case, neglected another woman’s abuse case. And for what? So that, after being offered money, she could come forward and claim it was all a lie.
THEY MOCKED THE PERUVIAN AUTHORITIES. THEY MOCKED ABUSED WOMEN. THEY MOCKED JOURNALISTS WHO HAD THE BEST INTENTIONS TO HELP HER, LEAVING THEM LOOKING LIKE COMPLETE LIARS.
Now the question is: will KICK do something about it? Or will they continue to turn a blind eye?

2024.11.25 18:00 TheLoneKreider Weird window bug
I just updated and now sometimes my windows move when I'm not even touching my keyboard or mouse. I use autotiling and my usual work setup has a terminal on the left and a browser on the right. Seemingly at random, the two windows will switch places, so that the terminal is on the right and the browser is on the left. This is obviously extremely annoying.
I'm not sure how to even begin figuring out what's causing this because it doesn't happen under repeatable circumstances. Does anyone have any suggestions or—better yet—know what's going on?

2024.11.25 18:00 Astraa_618 How to get ahead?
I'm a year 12 student and ik I have a while to prepare for End of Years' next year. However, all my test results since I started have been really bang average (low Bs) and i'm falling behind with hw because of trying to manage supercurriculars (which aren't going great either cl). I feel like I'm tired and working all the time - I already work in all my frees and at home but I still have sm backlog.
I'd really appreciate any tips to sort everything out and get ahead - maybe a timeline/organisation system of prep or how I can learn the content beforehand?

I’ve had a cold/cough since last Tuesday and am signed up for an Align tonight to ease myself back in. Even though I physically feel good I’ve still got a light cough/runny nose. I’m worried I’ll be coughing through class and distract my fellow classmates so I’m debating on canceling and giving it a few more days.
I’m especially beating myself up since I haven’t been to class since early November due to personal issues and a pet’s illness. As soon as I felt ready to go back to class after all that stress, I got sick.

Hi! I haven't been to a con in almost a decade and I've been getting nostalgic for them recently. Would anybody here happen to know if there are any "old school" style cons that are still popularegular? It doesn't necessarily have to specifically be an anime con - fantasy, comic or catch-all nerd stuff are all good.
By "old school" I mean: community run rather than corporate, 24h events (as in panels scheduled round the clock, the event as a whole would ideally run 48h+) and a disinhibited rather than sanitised culture. Basically the exact inverse of Comic Con.
The US has DragonCon as a notable example of what I'm thinking of. But I'm not looking to travel abroad. I've heard Kokorocon might be similar (could anybody confirm that?), though they've already sold out tickets for next year.
