Hi all, I’m a full-stack engineer with 2 years of experience. Over the past week, I’ve been updating my resume and would appreciate some feedback to improve it further. I’ve been reading (almost studying) the entire wiki of this subreddit to improve my approach. I’m currently targeting remote software engineering roles, especially in full-stack or frontend development. However, I’ve struggled to secure interviews with my previous resume; I’ve only had 3 interviews in the past 4 months. I’m looking for advice on how to improve my resume, particularly the way I’ve written the bullet points, as I feel they could better highlight my experience. Any feedback would be appreciated. Hi everyone. I'm a university student from UPF Barcelona applying for the erasmus program next year and toulouse is my second choice. In case I get i would like to get some tips on:
1) residency or flats i could rent (as reasonably affordable as possible)
2) food strategies to eat well and balanced for reasonable prices (both supermarket tips or barestaurant recommendations)
3) cultural tips: where to hang out, cultural spaces (museums, historical sites to visit on weekends, some places to party with friends), public transportation to use to visit other surrounding cities or town I could be interested in. the local's attitude, what are some sensitive subjects not to bring up or common themes that are easy to talk about, manerisms or niche etiquette expectations from toulose or the region in itself.
About my french, i have studied french during my spanish ESO (four years from 12 to 15 included) and then i did the doble title Bachibac (which includes the baccalaureate) so i have a rusty B2 in french. Not very fluent in the french slang or how people actually talk in french other that what i was taugh in school (academic words and news in french).

Tja, nach 15 Jahren weitgehend problemfreien Online Shopping und mindestens 12 Millionen betrieblichen Internetsicherheitsschulungen pro Quartal war ich nun doch mal dran. Ich hab mir über Amazon einen aufgrund von Black Friday Sales ganz toll runtergesetztem Laptop bestellt und bekam von Amazon die Benachrichtigung, meine Zahlung könne nicht verarbeitet werden und ich solle eine Überweisung tätigen. Diese sei über die A to Z Garantie bedeckt.
Ich, so damit beschäftigt meinen Black Friday Deal nicht zu verlieren, gucke nur ob die Domain wirklich zu Amazon gehört und ob das Unternehmen seriös ist - gute Bewertung auf Trust Pilot - und mach das noch. Puff, 500€ weg.
Der Händler, so teilte er mir heute mit, sei gehackt worden. Und natürlich, so offenbarte mir der erste Link see Internetrecherche die ich besser früher gemacht hätte, würden externe Überweisungen an Händler nicht vom Amazon A to Z Garantie gedeckt.
Nehmt das also als Ratschlag für euch, da genauer als ich drauf zu gucken und euch nicht so bodenlos verarschen zu lassen, wie ich. Hat aber vielleicht auch noch jemand einen Rat for mich?
Anzeige ist natürlich gemacht worden und der Händler wurde auf Amazon gemeldet. Die Bank wurde informiert. Die Rechtsschutzversicherung kann vorerst nichts machen. Übersehe ich einen Hebel, an dem ich zu zupfen versuchen könnte?

Hey guys, if you missed it, Blink just announced its Q3 results. The revenue drop was 42%, which wasn’t so great. But on the bright side, it reduced its net loss by over 23%. So, maybe they are finally leaving behind the problems they had a few years ago.
For newbies, in 2020, the media and users accused Blink of having severely damaged or non-functioning Blink chargers. The same year, the company was also criticized for its slow revenue growth compared to the EV industry.
All these issues caused a huge $BLNK drop, and investors filed a suit against them.
But now, they have finally agreed to pay a $3M settlement to investors and solve this scandal. The deadline is in two weeks, so, if someone got hit back then, you can check the info and file for the payment here.
They’re now showcasing the achievement of 100k contracted chargers, but their financial results weren’t all that impressive. We’ll see if their numbers improve next quarter.
Anyways, what are your bets on it? And has anyone here been affected by these chargers issues back then? How much were your losses if so?

Hi there! I’ve seen a few people asking so I thought I’d join in as well. I have a 13 Pro Max and was thinking of jumping to a 16 Plus (I really love the pink color this year). I’ve done some research and from what I can tell it wouldn’t be much of a downgrade going with a Plus over the 13. That said, I need a really good camera. So my question is would a pro max user notice any huge difference in the regular iPhone or should I stick with the Pro line?

My mom has diabetes (kinda gave that part away with the title) but the thing is she is extremely and puzzlingly insulin resistant. She requires very high doses through an insulin pump. Daily usage is about 180 units. If you know the 3 ml insulin cartridges she goes through 15 a month but actually more like 18 due to wastage in pump operations etc. Then on top of that pump's disposables etc which need to be replaced every 2 days because of the high dose.
I am really searching for two things:
- Vials: Some insulins come in vials that where the per unit price is almost 33% less. They are available in other cities but not in Indore, Apollo Pharmacy or 1mg/pharmeasy etc either.
- If not vials, I atleast need cheaper cartridges. They cost a fortune and half per day is crazy expensive.
We need modern insulin (Insulin Lispro or Insulin Aspart). Older insulins such as Actrapid are ineffective. If anybody has any contacts please let me know!

Traveling to southern Utah for Thanksgiving with my parents. I'm normally a weight vest guy but I plan to pack all my clothes in my rucksack (Molle 2) so I can ruck while there. I just don't know the best way to add weight. I doubt my pack with my clothes would weigh much more than 20-25 lbs. I normally ruck with 40.
Southern Utah is beautiful and I'm excited to experiences some rucks out there. A bag of sand is 50 lbs, costs under $10, and can be found at any hardware store. Is that the best answer? Plus I can just dump it out when I'm done. I'll be in a desert so when I'm done at the end of the week, I'd just dump it out. It'd fit right in to the landscape.

2024.11.25 17:38 awful_inaccuracy Total idiot here. Any idea what this will cost ballpark?
Was at the filling station today and did damage to another persons car. Was parked at the pump, opened my door and another car had cut through the pumps from the parking to get to the exit so was driving through the middle of the pumps. Totally my fault and the first time anything like this has ever happened to me. I feel absolutely rotten at myself ... million things going on ... trying to get my five year old to stay sitting in seat, and I just wasn't concentrating enough. Idiotic.
Apologised to the driver (after he and his wife deservedly stripped me down for parts) and gave him both my registration and phone number. Proved it was my phone number by having him call, etc. Told him to get it priced, etc and I'd pay for my damage.
I know exceptionally little when it comes to the cost of repairs as I have been fortunate enough to not to have to deal with anything of that nature before.
I'm waiting on quotes, etc from him, but in the interim would anybody be able to give me a ballpark of what I might be looking at? Trying to budget myself out with Christmas looming and I want to make sure I have it all together for him. There is no dent inwards whatsoever ... it was done from his car rubbing against the edge of my door at about 10km/hr. My damage was from the start to the end of the red. Damaged car is a white Nissan Micra.
