2024.11.25 19:50 Dry-Use-272 Mardi Gras parade best random act of kindness I’ve ever seen
This happened just before Covid. My husband and I were in a college town to watch a Mardi Gras parade. There were a couple of college age girls next to us, let’s just say they’re dressed for the occasion, and a boy about 10 with his mom in front of the girls. The kid was very excited and obviously intent on collecting some beads. The parade starts, beads are flying through the air, and the kid is having no luck catching any. The college girls notice this, and they start flashing the floats for beads and of course they get lots of attention and beads. The girls start dropping all the beads around the kids neck. He looks up at them in shock, but absolutely thrilled. He kept looking back at the girls, then at his mom, like “is this really happening”? Mom is laughing, the girls are laughing, and the kid walks away with probably 100 bead necklaces. It was a sweet and funny moment and I hope the kid shared all those beads with his friends.

I’ve tried everything I know of to try and desensitize him to it but it’s becoming a problem when I take him out and he pulls me to go back inside due to one loud noise. He’s my perfect baby and he’s still a puppy (9 months) so I get that he’s still learning about the world but I would so love some advice if anyone has any! At this point is it better to reroll the entire stone and go for all combined bonuses?

I received an email on the 20th of November that I was shortlisted for a position I applied for and I'm required to send some documents and confirm the test taking place on 26th November (tomorrow). I have uploaded the documents immediately and confirmed my attendance, however I haven't received an email ever since both from recruiter and testing platform.
Is it possible that I receive the email tomorrow just before the test? I was really excited about this opportunity, and now I dont know what to do :(

Hey there;
I’m a member of an adult amateur Korfball Team. For anyone unfamiliar with Korfball it is a mixed sex sport and normally requires 4 men and 4 women to make a legal squad.
My team have been getting by so far with only 4 women for the past few months whilst we can field 4 men with several subs to spare. This leaves us in a position where our female teammates are constantly playing full matches with no sub options and if any of them get sick or injured we would have to forfeit matches.
Does anyone have any general recruitment tips that might help? (the more the merrier always regardless of sex) If anyone has any tips for recruiting women especially that would be appreciated!

So I recently re-downloaded fallout 4 and all of my old automatons were gone. I didn’t think much of it and I started rebuilding them but then I remembered I had made modifications to Cogsworth so I wanted to see if those reverted but I can’t find him anywhere I went to the VIP tracker and his name isn’t on the list anymore so I decided to load an old save that I made before deleting it in the first place and I just so happened to have one of my automaton as a companion at that time and it completely saved so I thought all was well and went back to where I kept all of my automatons, but the rest were gone including Cogsworth but the kicker is Ada is still there, modifications, and all so is Cogsworth just gone forever now????
