Hello! I (30M) am having some imposter syndrome with coding and my computer science degree. I have a decent ( probably less than decent,) understanding of Python, Java, C+ and SQL. I have about 1-1.5 years left in my degree. I am changing career fields so being 30 years old and late to the game ( it seems,) is making me not think I have a shot at a good career. My question is, what working knowledge/ projects would you say someone needs to have completed/ know in order to be able to apply for a job after graduation? Just trying to get some input/ advice, thank you for your time!

 | I got like 2 ideas for teams in a bw chaos event and decided to just make a full roster. I think balancing is solid but there are probably some really strong teams that i wasnt aware of, thats not really my problem tho. Also I came up with team names for each one in the style of BWO teams (just like there were for the first chaos) Team Blitz Hunt (Red): Fir, Smallant, cjya, GrandPooBear (new), LilAggy, CraftyBoss (new), Failboat, Pointcrow, and Alpharad (new) We're starting with a team of 9, how exciting! Everyone in this team has played SMO online multiplayer Hide and Seek, and I think it's balanced to have 9 people considering that Fir is probably the weakest top frag and Smant isn't the best second frag either. Team Deadly (Orange): JumperWho, Rekrap, 4CVIT, MidMysticx, Ashswag, and Kaboodle do i even need to explain the reasoning behind this one? I know this is a weird set of Lifestealers but I think this is the most balanced option considering that Kab is really the only Lifestealer who doesn't normally get around 20th or higher. Team Double Protect (Yellow): Couriway, Fruitberries, Pikaclicks (new), Moxie Boosted (new), Thunderblunder7 (new), Pokeaim (new), and WolfeyVGC (new) This team would be funny, I mainly included it because I didn't get the chance to put a competitive pokemon yters based team in my Rookies preds. Not sure if Noah Pikaclicks actually plays in Minecraft events or just hosts them but this team is hype and he knows a few of the Poketubers so I think it's fine. Team Green Gooners (Green): Sneegsnag, Boosfer, Joe Bart, Altrive, Joko, Kwite, and HansumFella Finally we have a real team. Sneeg, Joe, Hansum trio is back and here with some very loud additions to the team. Kwite, Altrive, and Joko make this team a mostly SDMP team, and Boosfer fits the vibes great and works as a decent buff to the team as well. Team Makers (Aqua): Mysticat, Wolfeei, Shalomanon (new), MasterGarf, and Smajor This team is just Wolfeei and Scott as player managers of their respective events and Shalom and Garf as (i think?) lead positions in their respective events (Mayhem and PB respectively), plus Mysty because this team is not strong enough to 4 stack. I'm not certain if it's too weak or not but if you think it's too weak you could add in BitSquidd to represent Biome Battle. Team Anime (Blue): 5up, Meicha, LineChu, PorcelainMaid, Geega, Dokibird, Deme, FroggyLoch, MeowMoonified, and Grimmi vtubers :3 Team Rich (Purple): Hannahxxrose, BryTheGuy (new), ClownPierce, Lilkae (new), and Myles (new) I'll be real, I just stole this team from the MoneySMP x Block Wars event. it's probably balanced tho Team Fraud (Pink): Feinberg, Purpled, FireBreathMan, and SandwichLord As said on the tier list, this team has a 0.75x multiplier at all times. I really just made all my other teams and didn't have a spot for these 4, so I made this. 2024.11.25 17:39 Tilren What would you say is the darkest moment in Ys?
I haven't played all canonical Ys games yet. I'm still working through the newest ones, so please use spoiler tags.
Out of what I've played, I'd say in Ys 8, after the stars fall, and Eternia basically becomes a post-apocalyptic world with the Eternians gradually dying out until only Dana and Sarai are left. But the specific part of that which hits hardest is seeing Sia, the little girl you've always seen with her sister and played with on mandatory portions of the story, lying out on the table, telling you her twin sister died right in front of her. Talking to the cleric implies that Sia is dying too, as we know she ultimately does - since all Eternians except two die out - but we never know how much time they had left.
I think it's the only time I've seen in a Falcom game where a child is suffering like that in the present, rather than just a flashback, and another child you knew just as well has passed away in a dying world. It's absolutely heartbreaking.

Hi everyone. I (24F) had a molar extraction done on 11/23 due to a years old botched root canal that blew up with an infection pocket last week. I’m currently on an Ibuprofen/Tylenol regimen and Amoxicillin for the infection. the pain still comes and goes but is pretty manageable and not severe. I did have sutures placed and those have been holding up really well. I just have horrific anxiety and worry about developing a dry socket even though the clot seems to be stable and in place. Just need some relief

2024.11.25 17:39 Acceptable-Spare-714 how do i get rid of this constant anxiety and nausea
so i just found out my partner cheated on me, but at first it was just call logs and her snapchat on his phone since he unadded her and silenced her notifications for when he slept over to hide from me, for five days i wasn’t able to sleep, eat or drink any water from immense nausea. I got admitted to the hospital and while i was there i got a msg that he was holding hands with another girl at the mall so that’s when i told my whole family. I haven’t been getting any sleep because i wake up nauseated, sweating, and during a panic attack. I want to move on but i can’t because im bed bound due to not being able to eat, hydrate or sleep. My therapist is through my school and i cant make it to class to have any sessions. How do i calm my anxiety? or even stop feeling sick? (i’ve also been taking peptol bismol, ondansetron, pedialyte, and CBD oil but nothing helps)
