 | This is the nib of my newly acquired Jinhao 9016. While "dry writing", I noticed scratching and it seemed like the nib railroded out of the box. So I put it under the Microscope and saw this - is this nib defective? Or can this be saved somehow? I contacted the seller on aliexpress and their response was "Have you tried adding ink? The slit in the nib is where the ink flows." But all my other FP don't have that big of a slit. How do I go about doing this? I've got a small data center (4 rack cabinets, 1 telco rack) and plenty of power to setup a small spoke. I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff as my last involvement with hamster radio was about 11 years ago.

2024.11.25 17:40 SizeInfamous2242 What would be good sports to try?
 | I've been looking into trying some sports with Vex'aliha (She will be there on July 6th) and possibly the puppy I am keeping from her first litter, which should be due sometime in February. Vex is 65-67 lbs, 80% husky or more, and 20% wolf or less. She can pull a 20 lb tire pretty easily, haven't done it in a while, so I need to get a new tire and slowly start getting her back into pulling it. I also kind of started scent work, hoping to start training to track deer sheds, maybe duck or something. I jog with her once or twice for a little (I do not run much, so I gotta start jogging more). She is also my ESA, and I plan on learning how to turn the puppy I keep (Either Riot, Bâyak, or Ma'iingan) to be my Service dog. The Father of the puppies is a GSD, unfortunately, his owner has barely trained him in basics, so he barely listens. I think if he had proper training, Brutus would be good in protection work and scent work, but I am not sure about much else, as he is almost six. He is about 80 lbs, so I expect the puppies to be between 65-80ish lbs. Pictures (or Video) of Vex for reference.  | Fellow electricians, I’m looking for any experience or advice for single phase soft starters. I have a customer in a rural area with a walk in meat freezer, his frequent starting of the refrigerant compressor causes his lights to dim in his home for a few seconds. The compressor starts a couple times an hour. I’d like to install a soft starter to reduce the inrush, does anyone know of any good brands or have any experience with a similar scenario that can share their great wealth of knowledge?  | Hey y'all, I'm playing my main save in VR, and for whatever reason, when popping the menus on the left hand, it's upside-down! I have to twist my left hand awkwardly to sift through menus, it's awful. Unmanageable. But on my other saves, the menu comes up the way its supposed to come, straight, just turning left hand up. 2024.11.25 17:40 StandsForVice [s2 act 3 spoilers] A certain Vi and Caitlyn moment that went over a lot of people's heads: One innocuous line of dialogue that housed so much character development.
Arcane is remarkably economical and subtle with many of its character moments. True to life, meanings are obfuscated, and individuals may not even come close to describing how they're feeling, but the reality can still be grasped. It's a show that puts a lot of faith in its audience - it lies very far on the "show" side of the "show don't tell" scale.
The sex scene between Vi and Caitlyn is the perfect example.
Vi is spiraling into self-hate and doubt once again, "I always choose wrong, and because of that I've lost everyone." Then Caitlyn, pointedly ignoring those statements, says "did you really think I needed ALL the guards at the Hexgates?" ("I knew you would try to break Jinx out, and I let you do it.")
It's a huge amount of catharsis for both characters packed into one innocuous line. Caitlyn has forgiven Jinx and come to terms with her mother's death. Caitlyn truly cares about Vi. Caitlyn trusts Vi to do the right thing. Vi realizes that, hey, maybe she's not a fool. Vi realizes she hasn't lost everyone (my girl deserved a W). Vi realizes Caitlyn truly isn't the stuck-up, rigid, authoritarian jerkass she thought she was when they first met (and again when she was appointed to lead the Enforcers).
It's so wonderfully understated - Arcane is a one-of-a-kind show. It's rare that any kind of television show would put this much trust in its audience, and it's refreshing to see.

We've been waiting for years for LeBlanc to get a visual update, they didn't even show her face in Arcane. For some reason, in the show, everyone is shown as using LB and throwing him away. Now I see in the leaks that they don't even give LeBlanc a costume! They are bringing costumes for Irelia and Lux. They didn't even put that much effort into LB's Prestige costume. Now what could Irelia and Lux have to do with Black Rose? It's ridiculous. I don't have to count how many costumes Lux has, do I?
I'm sure LB will get a visual update in the new season, but one thing I'm sure of is that they will definitely leave her for last!
