I’m looking to book a multigenerational family trip in early April. We’ve been to Excellence resorts in that past and that’s the type of resort we would be looking for. However, our youngest person is not quite 18. She is very mature and doesn’t need teen activities. We very much want to avoid noisy children for this trip as we are prioritizing rest and relaxation.
Looking to budget about $700 per room per night, but could be flexible.
We like beautiful beaches, preferably with shaded seating. Good food is always a plus.
Evening entertainment isn’t a priority.
Ideally we’d love someplace easy to get to (nonstop flight from a Delta hub, resort not too far from the airport).
Any ideas? Right now Atelier is one possibility I’ve found.

2024.11.25 17:40 paulfalcone95 Driver and passenger doors won’t lock or unlock with remote.

2017 forester. My driver and passenger door won’t lock or unlock with the remote, but the two rear doors are operating just fine. I can arm the alarm when outside the vehicle but both the driver and passenger remain unlocked and when I open them, the alarm goes off because they were never remotely locked. I can also no longer lock the driver or passenger door from inside the vehicle using either door panel lock/unlock buttons. I don’t believe it’s the actuators on both doors as they both are inoperable. I also don’t believe it’s a key battery issue as that has been replaced recently and is operating both rear doors just fine. I’m assuming it’s a wiring issue or a fuse issue, I’m just not sure if the two front doors would be on a different fuse as the rear doors, as those are both operating correctly. Any input or troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My gecko’s eye is darkening on the bottom. Anyone know what the issue may be? The issues could be, lack of vitamin A according to Google. I recently changed my supplements for this species tho and they should be getting better diet now.
Or I recently had to turn off my auto misters because the enclosure was getting too wet. Working on drying it out currently.
The species is a satanic leaf tailed gecko (uroplatus phantasticus). The vets near me suck. Last time I went to one, they had never seen the species ever before and couldn’t really do much for me. I’m willing to go to a vet bc I have a new one I can try but does anyone have any experience with this?

Basically, the position is identifying plant pathogenic fungi found during inspection of agricultural commodities coming into the country: you get to see a wide variety of interesting plant-associated microfungi from around the world. It's a great position for someone that loves spending time on a microscope puzzling out the little tiny things.
They never leaves these up for very long: this one opened today, and closes Dec. 2. Government applications are checked by computer before a real person sees them, and it can be a bit fiddly to get past the automated review. I have an old GTX 970 laying around collecting dust, and was wondering if there’s any value in sticking it into my VM host. My VM host has a i5 12400 with 6 cores allocated to the ollama VM. Without context it generates about 15t/s running llama 3.2, so I was wondering if there would be any improvement from the 970?
I can test it myself, but wanted to get some thoughts before I go through the process of dusting off the card, turning off the server, etc
