Just asking if anyone had similar issues with them.
Received an email beginning October that they are sorry to lose me as a customer and that I cancelled my contract.
Called and informed them that I never cancelled my contract and asked what is going on. Obviously one agent messed up something and just cancelled it without me ever calling for a long time. He called me back personally and informed me that he revert everything and my contract is ok as it was before.
Literally today my internet stopped working (0,5 mbit unload)and I rang them twice (once she hang up after me waiting 40min and unable to solve the issue). Second agent informed me that my service of broadband is not active and that’s why it’s probably so slow and not working. Somehow it was still not possible to switch the account back to active and she had to raise a ticket.
Will probably be resolved in the next 24-48 hours.
I’m a customer since 2013 (UPC back then) and was never unhappy but this somehow frustrates me a lot.
Also we rely on the internet as my wife and me work full remote without an office.
Anyone who faced similar issues with them?
P.S. never missed a payment ;-)

I want to build my own gaming pc but I just don't want to use it on a desk, I want to use it on my bed just like I am doing with my laptop.
so I want to know if I can connect that pc on my laptop and use my laptop mainly as a monitor+keyboard.
chatgpt tells me to use tools like SpaceDesk or Input Director.
should I do just that? will these fail to satisfy me?should I abandon the whole concept?
I don't mind buying a gaming laptop despite its many downsides over gaming pc.

I just cut off my ex-friend who reached out to me again it was 2 years of no contact but we have been hanging out for like a year and I’ve red-flagged a lot of stuff including his true self when he drops the mask. I often got blamed for a lot of things and this time entering the friend group people had a weird energy that was shady and would be patientless with me. I’ve just come to realize I’ve enabled this behavior by being silent and being a people pleaser. I want to work on myself so I can have better friends, discernment, and communication skills. I’m not the victim and refuse to let that be part of me.

So I’m a first year majoring in psychology, but I have no real passion for it and I feel like im wasting my time in this major, and probably at the school. I’ve realized I might fit in more at a cc setting, and I haven’t accustomed to UCR at all and I feel nothing for this school. Recently nursing has been at the back of mind as a career, but I don’t see why I should stay at UCR to do nursing pre-reqs when I could do them at a CC and probably be happieget them done quicker. I tried to contact HPAC at UCR but I can’t get an appointment with an advisor unless im a second year :( I’m thinking of just sticking it out this quarter and enrolling into Chaffey for instead. Any advice?

Ok, so it was a genuine mad moment. Been playing with another guy for the past few days. We met in sakhal at the airfield and teamed up. Over the course of a few days we went along the peninsula and looted the islands. Found a DMR and had a nice time just chatting and exploring. I log in today on the south base on the peninsula, fairly close to where I left my pal yesterday, but he played on. Theres no zeds loaded in when I scoped the base from afar, so I loot the base. I'm just about to loot the 2 story useless building when I get a notification that my pal has joined the server, so I quickly start to write him a message that I'm lootring the base. All of a sudden I'm getting shot at and I quickly move to cover. I scream 'wait, wait, I'm friendly ' but the shooting continues. I peek the corner and the player is there, It must be my pal but they are still shooting so I had to down them. All happened in about 3 seconds. I check the body and sure thing, it's my pal. He had the DMR, and the fishing rod and loads of loot we gathered together.
I invite him to my chat and we had a laugh about it, he said he heard me shout but didn't recognise me (I had changed clothing and bag). It must have annoyed him as he logged off shortly after but he said fair play, it was an accident. I feel guilty, but shit happens I guess.

I've always had a passion for aviation growing up and wanna go into the aviation space in terms of my career. But also as a hobby I wanna fly rc planes specifically fixed wing gliders that can go ling range. My budget is around 1000usd or 800gbp.
