I (34F) am a wedding photographer with over a decade of experience. Five years ago, I was hired by “Emily” (now 32F) to photograph her wedding. At the time, she was very happy with my work. I provided a package that included a full-day shoot, an engagement session, a wedding album, and digital copies of all the edited photos. She and her (then) husband “Jake” left a glowing review and recommended me to several friends. Everything was great.
Fast forward to two weeks ago, and I get an email from Emily. She says she and Jake divorced last year, and she wants a refund for the wedding photos because “they no longer hold any value to her.” She said it’s unfair that she paid so much for photos that now only serve as a painful reminder of a relationship that didn’t last. At first, I thought it was a joke, but she was dead serious. She’s asking for a full refund — which would be about $3,000.
I politely declined and explained that the service was rendered in full, the photos were delivered, and she had no complaints at the time. She insists that I am profiting off her misery and that a refund is the least I can do given her circumstances. I’ve never encountered anything like this before, and while I do feel bad that her marriage ended, I don’t think it’s fair for her to demand her money back now.
Since I declined, she has been sending me increasingly aggressive messages and has even left a new (and very negative) review on my business page. Some mutual acquaintances (who were also my clients) have reached out, saying that I should consider giving her at least a partial refund to avoid bad publicity.  | Hi! This past year I’ve taken up punch needling to try and combat my yarn stash. It’s been lots of fun so far, but I keep running into the same issue. My stitches all of a sudden decide they don’t want to stay put and start coming out of the fabric. Lots of blogs online are suggesting 3 things. 1, too thick of yarn for your needle (I’m pretty sure I have the right size for my yarn as it slides through the needle very easily) 2. Not enough slack(I thought maybe I was giving too much slack?) 3. Knots in the yarn.. Hello, I just moved from Delaware to PA and my registration and plate are going to expire next week and I just got a notary office to request my title to be transfered to PA. I'm hoping they can expedite this and that I can get it done before next week but if I can't and have to wait 4-6 weeks is there any way I could get an emergency temp tag for a few weeks I'm PA or would it be easierto go down to Delaware and get a temp tag there instead?

2024.11.25 18:46 Exciting_Occasion_29 Update to “Should I move my bin to the middle of my yard”
My wife definitely rolled her eyes but I move my bin over the weekend into my yard in an attempt to help amend the soil in that area.
I took my 2" auger bit and deeply aerated the ground under the bin 6"-8" deep. I will probably only leave it there over the winter and early spring. Then late spring I will harvest, relocate back to the corner and patch the area with sod. Time will tell how much it helps but it definitely won't hurt.
My bin is shredded leaves (prob 98% by volume), some plant clippings and coffee.
Moved it yesterday and it's at about 110 now.

Hey, I (f) and a guy in my class have a bit of a problem going on. We used to talk back in august and even went on a date but i didnt like it and we stopped talking. Now, last week my friend had her birthday and we played truth or dare. my dare was to text him.
(now, it gets confusing... im sorry, english isnt my first language. i regeretet ghosting and rejecting him. so my friends basically talked me into texting him as my dare.)
He seems realy happy and excited to see and text me, however for some reason i am not. AAnother big problem is, he invited me to one of his basketball games. (to that i could just cook up a random excuse such as a family renuinion). for some reason, everytime he texts me i just get annoyed, ignore him and tell him 6 hours later that a fell asleep after school. how do i tell him that i think wearent good together despite what almost the whole grade is saying. im not even popular so i dont get how they carre or why it should be of thier concern. one of my biggest fears is just be seen as the asshole who texts him and then ghosts him again. Am I playing with his feelings? Am I sending him mixed signal by being really kind of text and then so ignorant and distant in school´? What should i do? Or better how should i break it to him that it was a dare and i (for whatever reason) stooped liking him all of a sudden. Maybe i never liked him to begin with or its just becasue im a confused 14 year old girl. Help is appreciated with the deepest heart feelings of mine.
