2024.11.25 21:36 SquigitySquag1 Problem with ASUS Vivobook 14 OLED
To preface this I know this is a common post on here but maybe someone will have some useful information out of the blue.
My laptop has been unable to boot and has the blinking white battery light which many people have posted about. I've taken out the battery itself and tried powering on from AC only but that didn't work which makes me think its not the battery. Took out the SSD but still no boot or screen activity. Made sure all the pins were plugged in the right place and reassembled. Not sure where to go from here and since I have a new computer I don't really feel like sending it in to get repaired but it would be nice to see if there's a way to get it working again just for a backup computer.
Note: I did get it working twice out of a hundred times by repeatedly powering it down for 30 seconds and turning it on but the problem always comes back, and it also can't be because of the charger I'm using since i've tried two chargers. Any advice would be helpful :)

Story:
I just got the Crux35 ELRS version about 2 weeks ago. I flew it a couple time at my house and had great range. About a week ago I flew it at my house, and it worked perfectly. The same day I went to a open field to try and fly. I took off and about 20 to 30 feet my ODS went static completely. Nothing was damaged. I then tried again, and it crashed from too much static. My VTX antenna had popped off. I put the VTX antenna back on, but didn't make a difference.
What I have now:
The U.FL connector to the VTX looks fine. I am assuming that the antenna is just bad. I tried different firmware options in betalight to see if that would help the range, but it doesn't. I have also configured the VTX table in so many different ways (400mw with Raceband 8 is what I had before). I am using URAT 2 Serial RX and UART 2 TBS Smart audio.
Worst case scenario, I have to get a new VTX, but I don't know.
Please help me!

I know it's almost Thanksgiving but I wanted to post an update to my question I asked about trick-or-treating a month ago. I was told unless I lived on a "halloween block party" street, I should temper my expectations. WELL. Certainly glad we stocked up on candy! Even though our house is mostly hidden from the street, we decorated and put up lights and had over 100 kids between 5:30-8:30! Doorbell was ringing so often that we ended up posting outside. Happy to be in Cambridge.

 | I recently just had my first roll of color film developed in a lab. While some of my photos are good, most of them seem blurry/not very sharp, , which I find disappointing. I'm using a canon eos elain ii and shooting in the aperture priority mode, using kodak gold 200. I did not have this issue when shooting in b&w (using ilford super 400 I believe). Any tips? If there is anything I can do in post, I'm happy to hear suggestions as well. For information, the first picture was shot at 4.5/1000. The quality of the scans was also not super high (1545x1024) but I don't think this should have an effect.
