my land lord cleaned my shower drain out and didn’t tell me — found these in my trash can. I have been freaking out about some bites on my body — not clustered or in a line but we’ve had bed bug treatment and now a general pest control treatment done. I squished one and there was no blood. Shell is translucent almost. Exterminator couldn’t be sure. Cat showing no signs of fleas either.
There are also these white sacs around our apartment. Any id on those? Squish easily with liquid inside.

I was putting up christmas lights on my roof and once in a while I would get a waft of rotten egg smell.
I went to Google and basically found that I was smelling sewage and I should get a plumber.
Does anyone know what is going on here? What I should be doing? I bought this house two months ago so I'm on a learning curve and any/all information will be read.
If it helps, I have a mound septic system.

Berkeley Rep (LORT B) is seeking an Associate Wardrobe Supervisor to join our team. Under the direction of the Wardrobe Supervisor, the Associate Wardrobe Supervisor serves as a key member of BRT’s Wardrobe Department. They will work in close collaboration with visiting costume designers and directors for each production and will collaborate with the other production departments to ensure that the company’s best work is being put forth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Wardrobe Supervisor in maintenance and running of costumes for full season and assist in supervision of wardrobe crews and wig crews, including setting crew calls, scheduling breaks, and reminding crew to log hours on Paylocity in a timely manner.
- Work with Resident Associate Costume Designer to create and maintain paperwork, including dressing sheets, run sheets, and pre-set lists. Assist with development of wardrobe tracks for each production and train crew to run them.
- Assist with load-in and load-out of costumes. Set up dressing rooms for shows. Pull and pack costumes for transport to shop during tech.
- Maintain costumes during run, including repairs, laundry, dry cleaning, pressing, steaming, etc.
- Maintain good relationships with other departments. Work with Stage Ops for backstage quick-change areas.
- When necessary and assigned, run a wardrobe track or wigs/hair show track.
- Supervise crew and reinforce basic rules including appropriate backstage behavior and dress.
- Reinforce crew guidelines and policies as determined by BRT, Wardrobe Supervisor, and Costume Director.
- Demonstrate and practice respectful and effective communication skills.
- Maintain wardrobe/haiwigs areas, monitor equipment, and report any issues. Track supply inventory and order supplies through Wardrobe Supervisor.
- Attend all Put-Ins and Understudy rehearsals. Coordinate with Stage Management and Resident Associate Costume Designer to ensure actors have all necessary costumes and hair needs.
- Attend nightly production meetings during tech rehearsals.
- Coordinate with Stage Management and Resident Associate Costume Designer to arrange for hair cuts and treatments as needed.
- Create and maintain an inclusive, safe, efficient and effective working environment.
- Actively participate in workshops and trainings, including company meetings, harassment prevention, bystander intervention and other antiracism, equity, diversity, inclusion, and access initiatives.
- 2-3 years professional experience working wardrobe.
- Strong sewing and repair skills.
- Computer skills, Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good communication and mediation skills.
- Experience managing a crew.

In my previous post AITAH for breaking up with gf with BPB? I (32M) felt concerned that my gf with BPD may have an outburst to the news that I want to break up with her. I’m still grappling with what to do, but I’ve taken a step toward figuring things out, and I wanted to share what’s been going on.
After thinking it over deeply, I made the difficult decision to ask my girlfriend to move out for now. This whole situation has been incredibly emotionally draining, and I feel like I need some space to process everything. I told her that we need time and distance to figure out her relationship with my mom and to gain some clarity on where we stand.
The conversation didn’t go well. My girlfriend broke down, and it’s clear she’s not handling it well. I’ve never seen her so distraught, and honestly, it was painful to watch. She told me she feels lost and doesn’t know what to do with herself now that she’s “in the middle” of everything. She says she loves me and doesn’t want to lose me, but she also needs time to sort out what’s going on with my mom, who has been like a second mother to her. She seems completely torn between her loyalty to me and the bond she’s built with my mom over the years.
I’m not sure if I’ve done the right thing. I don’t want to cause her more pain, but at the same time, I can’t just ignore the fact that she’s been involved in these manipulative and damaging conversations with my mom behind my back. I’m still struggling with my trauma, and the last thing I need right now is for that pain to be used against me. I feel like my world has been upended again, and I’m just trying to find a way to protect myself while still being fair to her.
I honestly don’t know if I’ve made the right decision. I feel like I’m stuck between protecting my mental health and trying to salvage the relationship. She still hasn’t given me a clear answer about how she wants to move forward. She says she’s confused, and I get it—I’m confused too. But I can’t continue like this, in a relationship where my mom is poisoning everything from the sidelines and where I’m left feeling completely betrayed by the woman I love.
I just don’t know what comes next. Part of me wants to work through this with her, but part of me is terrified that I’ll keep being dragged back into the same toxic cycle. I’m trying to take things one day at a time, but I’m really not sure what the best path forward is.
If anyone has been in a similar situation—where your partner was caught in the crossfire of your family drama—please let me know how you navigated it. I’m so lost right now, and any insight would really help.
