Hey there. I have a weird issue here.
We have two classes and two teams. The plan is when you are in team 2 you become class 2, and thus, no friendly fire.
Then we have team 1 and class 1. But this case, friendly fire must be on.
BUT no matter what combination, there is always friendly fire. The only difference when I change the island settings from free for all to teams or custom, players can revive eachother, but still they can damage.
Sooo... any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Hello! Im new to hunting in general but have shot a long bow on and off for a good while. I'm looking at getting into bow hunting next fall so I was planning on buying a compound next spring. Ive got a 80in wingspan so from what I understand, I need a 32in draw bow and that limits the options a bit. My question is, should I go for a flagship Mathews lift xd or am I better off getting started with something like a Bear Paradigm? I could probably swing the price of the Mathews but it feels like a ton starting out seeing that it would probably be $1500 more overall than the bear, plus the cost of all the other gear like a saddle and basic camo, arrows, etc. I feel like even though the Bear might now be the same quality or as adjustable, it's still got to be better than the bows that killed thousands of deer back 20-30 years ago and I could upgrade in 5 years or so once I've gotten my feet wet. I appreciate any advice/input!

Im on an F1 Visa and my Passport was damaged. I want to go back to my country to renew it. To do so, I want a travel pass, right? So that it can act as a substitute to a passport. However, I am stationed in Florida and the Consulate is located in New York. How can i travel from Florida to New York with a damaged Passport? Is there any way for me to go back to my country without getting a travel pass? How does travel work for people on F1 with a damaged passport?

2024.11.25 18:40 Adventurous-Dig-4201 Laid Off Right Before the Holidays – Mixed Emotions

I was recently laid off from my job, right before the holidays. I can’t help but feel like it might be a blessing in disguise. The work environment was extremely toxic, and my boss was exceptionally difficult to work with. She doesn’t have the best reputation in our field. As an example, during my first month on the job, she literally made me leave a seat at the dinner table during a work event, leaving me standing in front of everyone. She hated to see me eat, it was weird I rarely eat anyway and finally have gotten the courage to eat in front of others but she was like always on the sidelines making sure I wasn’t involved like I didn’t deserve to eat. Unfortunately, that set the tone for the months to come.
While I’m relieved to be out of that environment, my body and mind seem to be reacting to the stress of the situation in ways I didn’t expect. I feel physically drained, almost unable to move, and my mind spirals when I dwell on everything too much. It’s a strange mix of relief and overwhelm.
I know I’ll be okay—I’m young, capable, and qualified—but the uncertainty is heavy. The severance package wasn’t great, and the company wasn’t willing to negotiate. Not having health insurance and the lack of income in the near term are also weighing on me.
For now, I’m trying to focus on moving forward, but I could really use advice or motivation from anyone who’s been in a similar situation.

Realistically new to MTG, but loving it, and slowly building my connection. The POD I play with are quite strong and have a lot of money invested, so I would like something that’s not cEDH, but something strong enough to match their power level (I’d say slightly below cEDH).
I currently have Necron dynasty as I enjoy the graveyard component, and food and fellowship, which is mad fun because I am drawing so much, and I feel like I am doing quite a bit every turn.
I am looking for something multicoloured (don’t care much about red, but not opposed to it). Something that has a mix of ramp and draw cards. Has a resilient and interactive board, splash of enchantments is nice.
Not looking for another food/graveyard deck. Not big on aggro, though I would like a clear win on mixed in somewhere. Really don’t enjoy heavy instant/sorcery decks, would prefer creature/control based.
Looking at spending ~300 to start, and will upgrade at a later time. Some commanders that look interesting are: Yuriko (despite me not liking aggro), Esika, Pantlaza, Sythis, Marneus, and Dihada. Note, I looked at EDHrec and picked commanders that look to be fun.
