So I (20F) am trying to figure out what I need to know before I move out, Im not getting much help from anyone in person so I seek help from the village.
What are the core expenses that are needed to live alone?
I know I need insurance but I don’t know how to go about paying any of that or what places cover the most. Are life insurance and health insurance the same thing? Does health insurance cover eyes and dental? What can I do for auto insurance and does it couple with life insurance?
Im just really lost on many things but I need to start picking away somewhere so might as well start with this.

I’ve been experiencing annoying side effects from consuming dairy for a while now so I mostly live dairy free but my energy is not great and for some reason whenever I do consume dairy I just feel so much stronger in the gym and I have more energy, but with all the other negative side effects that I get. I already supplement vitamin D, k2, mag, calcium and I was wondering if maybe dairy contains some sort of nutrient that I might be missing appart from the ones I’m already taking.

Hi I received the form 4549 with a notice of deficiency for my taxes from 2023. I wanted to make the payment online but when I login to my account on IRS.gov it says the balance due is $0. Why would it show $0 balance if they sent me multiple letter about the deficiency. Anyone know why this is happening?

hey gang i just finished a run with bandit where i finally picked up a lunar (quite a few actually) and i noticed something odd
i never got a tonic affliction not once "what's the big deal" I HAD 2 PURITIES I CHANCE FOR EACH AFFLICTION WAS 50 PRECENT I POPPED THAT THING NO LESS THAN 6 TIMES THAT'S A 0.016% CHANCE
which is nearly impossible this is very confusing to me if anyone has any idea what could have caused this please tell me i see 2 possible explanations but it could be neither
either
the wiki is wrong and tonic affliction chance isn't affected by clover and purity (aprox a 0.26 percent chance much higher still gacha odds)
or it does affect it but the wiki is still wrong purity helps and clover is a detriment for some weird reason

So I bought the Born Pretty Metal Painting Gel, now I'm looking for a base and top coat. I have heard that Born Pretty doesn't make such great base coats. I already have the Seche Vive Instant Gel Effect Top Coat (blue bottle). Do you think this is sufficient, or should I be looking to stay with the Born Pretty brand for this no matter what? Or is there another brand I should use? What do you think about the base coat? I know that normally you try and stick with all the same brands for one application, but I've seen a lot of not doing that lol
So I'm not sure with the Born Pretty brand in particular, first time using it.

Could you give us recommendations on venues, bilingual wedding planners, photographers, MUAs, DJs, unique experiences and budgeting tips for Central and Coastal Oaxaca?
My husband and I eloped a year ago and want to plan a wedding destination ceremony/vacation trip with about 15 of our closest friends and their plus ones. The master list is about 33 people and we would be ecstatic if 20 showed. Honestly, the more intimate the party, the better. We are based in SF but our guests live all across the U.S. We are looking at a minimum of 5 days/4 nights trip. Preferably Wednesday - Sunday or in late 2026. A full week Saturday - Saturday is also ok for our guests.
We went to Oaxaca City in December 2022 to work remotely, loved it there and became curious about coastal Oaxaca as a wedding destination. We are not interested in any Yucatan venues/services because we love the mountains. A dream venue would be a green space near the coast that looks spectacularly lit up at night, elevated or on a mountain with a view of the ocean and a cocktail hour somewhere with a view of the ocean at sunset but not at sea level. If that is not possible for us to find, then Oaxaca City would also be lovely. Our third choice would be any place with mountains + water but no sand and mild temperatures because sweat lol
We (think we want):
- welcome party
- bridal/bachelorette party or night out
- first look/photography
- rehearsal dinner or dinner cruise
- pre-wedding cocktail hour at sunset
- night wedding ceremony
- reception with DJ
- post wedding brunch
- organized tours (optional for guests to sign up for)
Do you have any itinerary tips?
We would like to find a planner that can help organize group travel experiences before and after the wedding such as a dinner cruise/boat party.
We love Mexican brutalism, fairy-core, industrial vibes, solar punk and alternative art. This wedding will be black tie.
With our budget, are there any other mountain + water locations you'd recommend?

TLDR: I had an interview go really well, and while I think an offer is somewhat likely, I want some tips on lowering my expectations. Short of just focusing on other interviews (as I'm already trying to do that), do any of you have tips?
For context-I left a job I hated in July and took two part time jobs to make ends meet. I've been looking for full time work ever since, and while I've gotten interviews I haven't gotten any full time offers.
Most of my interviews have just gone okay-I've had a couple that went really well and still didn't end in an offer. Which sucks a lot and is hard for me to not somewhat internalize.
My most recent interview that went well was for a job that a. I know I'd enjoy and b. Is very similar to work I've done before. I don't like saying this because I don't want to jinx myself, but based on both the tone of the interview and the fact I've excelled at this type of work before, I wouldn't be surprised if I got it.
But it's a tough market. And I've had my hopes up before and just gotten hurt.
The second step in the process was doing an assignment, which I got to my interviewers a couple days after the interview itself. They said they were excited to read my work/generally seem enthusiastic about my experience.
Now. Despite the fact they'd been pretty forthcoming that I won't likely hear back until after thanksgiving, part of me is still spiraling into doom because I haven't heard anything yet (which is dumb). The other part of me feels like I have this in the bag, which also feels very dumb.
I have two other interviews coming up -one tomorrow, the other after the holidays-so I'm trying to distract myself with my prep for those, but this particular job would be a really good fit. It actually doesn't pay as well as the other two prospects, but I know I'd enjoy the work.
I'm trying to focus on my holiday plans too, but it's also just hard to not shake the high hopes and I'd really like to, as I've been burnt before. Writing this kind of helped, but if anyone's got any tips to keep myself grounded/not too overconfident I'd be grateful
