My dad had an accident and he’s basically gone now. I was thinking about xc3 a lot before for years to help me cope with my depression, but now i’m thinking about it to help my grief. The life and death and relationship themes are the most relatable; i’m thinking about the sidequests a lot and what ouroborus went through and am finding strength in those.
I know i’ll replay this game soon. I was holding off on replaying the game again from the beginning because i didn’t want to feel, as i was trying to avoid my shame and depression about where i am and what i’ve done in life with games that kept me busy but not feel. But i think i need to feel again and learn to move on, so i’m going to finally start xenoblade 3 again. Just not now.

I found glass plug kit on BAF, and the picture above is a single pair of titanium plugs. but pleaseee tell me somewhere in this world there is a single flare tunnel stretching kit?!? That are titanium ofc .. I love tunnels so much and I feel like it’s much cooler and you can see progress better with them. I feel like a failure and an ass. I ordered the Seven Sundays Pumpkin Spice Oat cereal from Thrive because Thrive listed it as GF and the packaging says Gluten Free on the front and the back. We got it, she ate 3/4s of it and then she (not me) reads the fine print that says processed at a facility with wheat. And she's had a low grade stomach ache for the last 2 weeks. I know it's 100% my responsibility to read word on every label. But I also feel like it is incredibly deceptive labeling. I'm proud of her (she's only 8) for knowing what she needs and understanding what the label means. And I feel like shit that I let this happen. Also, yes I know oats are often contaminated, but Seven Sundays sells oat products that are listed as GF oats, so I guess that also made me falsely assume that they knew what GF really means.

2024.11.25 19:21 zombiepunks Making a demon tarot deck with accurate associations/meanings
I am currently interested in making my own version of tarot cards based on demons (Goetia and non). Something similar to Travis McHenry's Occult Tarot but, ideally, more accurate and a bit less flashcard-y. This is why I'm asking if there's any sources on demon's and links to basic tarot cards or if maybe I should go on instinct? The sources I've been using so far is this website and A. Crowley's chart but it get's confusing when some of them have the same card and it seems it's only for minor arcana.
The idea is to create a deck for personal use first, then maybe later offer it for purchase later on so I want it to have as accurate symbolism as I can get. I only have a few listed as of now that I went on instinct for - ex. Belial as The Tower, Leviathan as the Ace of Cups, Lucifer as The Star, don't even know how accurate those are. Some demons I still do not know too well and their image plus what tarot cards represent can get confusing, or even not applicable to any at all.
Maybe I'm thinking too much about it, any ideas on what the best route for this would be?

background - I was never able to see wicked on broadway as a kid but I loved the music (small town girl etc) so seeing the movie on Friday was exciting and I loved it! Cynthia and Ariana were both fantastic
is there a reason that elphba/cynthia couldn’t have kept the british accent? I understand the rest of her family would’ve been cast british too but sometimes I felt like her singing felt like someone singing in an american accent so I wonder if it was necessary? her voice is so rich and beautiful, leave it be!

I was considering the purchase of a second 3M HF-802SD elastomeric respirator (with N95 filters instead of the P100 filters for the HF-802SD that I already have).
However, I've come across the Softseal N95 masks, which are "disposable" but have a silicone facepiece for comfort and a more durable seal (just like some elastomeric respirators). The promise seems to be combining the pros of the 3M Aura mask and the 3M HF-802SD respirator without the cons. What do you think of the Softseal masks?
The pros of my 3M Aura masks are:
- Comfortable
- Effective
- Does not muffle my voice
- May gradually lose effectiveness as the mask wears out after many uses
- Great seal: Like any elastomeric respirator, it provides a better and longer-lasting seal than that of 3M Aura and other disposable masks.
- Speaking diaphragm: It does not muffle my voice as much as my 3M 7502 elastomeric respirator does.
- It still muffles my voice. While it's much better than my 3M 7502, it's still difficult for people to hear me if the room is noisy.
