I haven't been to Heritage Park in years, and haven't been to their Christmas thing since I was a kid.
I was thinking about taking my girlfriend there for a day.
Are there still fun things to do there for a couple of adults or is it mostly geared towards kids?

So recently, like the last few weeks, the bots will start out with a nice conversation but then randomly start becoming super formal and talking like some sophisticated philosopher… am I the only one who’s having this problem/noticing it? in sure i’m not LMAO maybe in crazy idk
I do edit my responses and keep swiping for new ones and stuff like that but i’m just wondering if anyone else is having this issue

2024.11.25 21:41 SlimPhantomz Worst or Least Used Carbine

I love the carbines in this game, I enjoy faster aim and faster fire rate compared to the heavy hitter rifles (poll in the future), however some are better than others. There are 7 carbines in the game to my knowledge and I can only put 6 on a poll. I decided to exclude the Moschetto da Cavalleria Mo. 91 as it is well used and I think most people won’t say it is the worst. You can look at the definition of a carbine if you don’t know but mostly I choose these six based upon them fitting the description and stats. Does your decision take into account sight picture, individual reloading, damage, better weapons in class, or just never used it!

2024.11.25 21:41 afonma Avoidant break up. Is there any hope?

Hey, I was in a 1.5 year relationship (btw LDR). My ex gf is an avoidant and she admit that. Everything was great first 6-8 months. But then out of the blue she started pulling away. I tried to discuss it and she was aware of her avoidance. Every time she pulled away, I gave her space and tried to be patient. I wanted this relationship to work out, cuz we had similar goals, desires and views on life. Then there was a situation where I suggested therapy to her, cuz she said she couldn't solve it on her own. She found a counselor and everything was getting better. Her avoidance started vanishing. I come to her to spend all summer together. This summer was the best in my life, we made a lot of activities together, it was incredible experience for both of us. By that time she stopped her sessions with counselor, cuz we were together and weren't separated by a distance. I didn't feel any avoidance irl, only when there was a distance between us. Also she had to move to US in October. I was upset because the difference in hours would be greater than before and it would be harder to maintain connection. She supported me, saying:" Everything will be fine, we will get move in together after I graduate from university. It's gonna be a tough time but we get through it, I won't leave you". I came back home and everything was great for a first month. We were together for 1 year and 4 months together by that time. She started pulling away again the week before she moved to the US. Then she told me: "I don't deserve this behavior. I can't give you what you want. I don't believe i can change.". I told her that it's okay to step back in a relationship, there are ups and downs and it's fine. I suggested to try a therapy again, because that counselor wasn’t ok for her, but she refused to try a therapy. She asked if we could take a 2 day break. I was ok with that and tried to be understanding, cause both of us had a tough time. After the break she was colder than ever before, I got that something is wrong. I decided not to ask her about problem and wait until she told me about her feelings herself. Next day we had a facetime call where she told me she wanna break up. The main reasons were:
1.She wants to find out about herself more. 2.I don’t deserve this attitude. 3.She doesn’t want to share her emotions and feelings with me during moving to US(cause she didn’t want to move there and it’s hard for her)
I told her I can wait for her and we don’t need to break up, but she refused it too. I was crying during our facetime, it was really hurtful for me, because I lost not only my gf but also my best friend. She suggested no contact, but she didn’t want to unfollow me on IG.
Next day after break up I wrote her that I have some questions which I would like to discuss. She agreed. I asked her a few questions that I needed answers to. Then I was confused, cause she told me additional reasons why we need to break up. There are the reasons:

  1. We aren’t compatible(we had a lot of similar views on life though).
  2. I could hug my male friend because I thought you would be upset(she could discuss it with me and everything would be fine). It was little confusion for me, because after these words I started thinking she had feelings for him. Sometimes she and her friend went for a walk alone and that increased my assumptions too.
  3. She doesn’t want a codependency.
All of these reasons were spoken in a little aggressive form. And it also seemed to me that, judging by her voice(it was so cold), she didn’t care about our relationship at all.
Now I am so confused cause like all of this promises, feelings and emotions mean nothing to her. Also by she changed her IG profile and it feels like she is so glad to be in the US despite she didn’t want to move there.
Is there any hope that she will reach out in the future? I think it doesn’t typical for avoidant to not block and unfollow their ex. Also I forgot to mention that she is FA leaning to DA, sometimes she felt some anxiety too.
I would really appreciate to hear some feedback and some thoughts about all of it.

2024.11.25 21:41 Wooden-Gas3849 Reaching out to ex turns out to be the best thing I did to move on

No we did not make amend or go back together. I texted to let her know that I admit everything I did wrong as well as my avoidant behavior. But at the same time I also pointed out her mistakes and what led to my decision. I also said I believe I would do better if given 2nd chances, she didn’t want that and I was okay with that.
She somehow came back to contact me again and decided to blame it all on me, all of her insecurities was because of me and that I never even loved her. 4.5 years I spent with this person and this is what they think of me, this has indeed convinced me that I made the right choice dumping her (I felt like she was so entitled and ungrateful so I broke up with her). And yet when I told her I regretted hurting her, she made me realized that again, everything I did for her meant nothing. I simply cannot love someone refuses to see my efforts and admitting their mistakes.
The conversation has killed off any feelings and respect I have left for her, I guess I was just idolizing her because she was there with me when I had a sickness last year which was quite severed and post-surgery time was tough, so I got so fixated on that positive aspect. After what she told me I feel lucky that I cut her out of my life and my judgment was right. I don’t even feel sad anymore and am actually quite relieved.
It is time for me to close this chapter of my life, as my ex showed me who she really is. I really do think I do not have to post in this sub anymore. To anyone out there who is still suffering, be it the dumper or dumpee, maybe you have yet to realize that your ex might not be that good of a person and you are just idolizing them. I hope that you will all move on soon.
