3 and a half months. The house is a mess. My financial situation is lol. I am procrastinating and avoiding important stuff. My diet is crap right now. I’m a little hazy on my kids’ homework situation at the moment.
But sometimes when I feel defeated, I just ask myself if I’m drinking or not. If the answer is no, then I’m doing ok.
A messy house is nothing compared to dying all yellow from liver failure before I can see my kids graduate college. That being their final memory of me. Worried there was something they could have done to save me.
They got a peek at how it was, and now they’re seeing me get and stay sober. I went from feeling ashamed all the time of the drinking to proudly celebrating milestones with them.

Currently predicted all 9s and I want o do f. Maths, maths, chemistry and physics. I swore to myself I wouldn't do 4 a-levels but now I can't drop one.
Is it really as bad as people make it out to be? I want to get A*s and have extra curriculars outside of school but I don't know if the two are mutually exclusive lol.

 | Last week, I got my tires changed and went with a 285/40 in the rear and the stock size of 255/40 up front on the stock PP wheels. Now, I'm getting an issue where between 2-3k rpm, I'm getting no throttle response, and I got a hill start assist disabled pop up. Now I also noticed my brake lights are stuck on, even with the car off. I have to push on the gas, or downshift to get any kind of momentum to keep going. I live with and roommate and boyfriend in a 3 bedroom apartment, one room is used as a living room. Current rent split is approximately 30.68% my bf and I each in 1 room 38.63% my roommate in her own room. This was calculated based on square footage of private and shared spaces, slightly in my roommates favor to round the numbers out. Utilities are split in 3 evenly. We have a 3 car driveway, single car wide.
We started renting together as friends but have drifted this past year. The initial agreement regarding the driveway was that we will try to fit 2 cars on there depending on schedule. The parking has been my roommate and bf on the driveway and myself on the curb 93.61% of the time counting Monday-Thursdays. On the weekends, we can usually all park on the driveway. Recently, due to schedule changes, we asked her to park on the curb for the next month and the half (Monday-Thursdays) so we can still park 2 cars on the driveway, my boyfriend and myself. She disagreed and said the driveway spots should be split by room so she should have a spot. She would prefer us call her so we can move our cars for her when she comes back. I cannot agree with this method she proposed and believe that as we have split all common areas in 3, the driveway should be split in 3 also. Her reasoning is that she pays a big portion of rent.
I don't know what to do except just giving up the driveway spots entirely.

Hey guys!
So I work at Chick-fil-A and I mostly love the job. The only thing is, I HATE working with this one manager(we’ll call her Tiffany). Every time I work with “Tiffany”, she always has me clean the dining room even when it’s spotless so she doesn’t have to deal with me. Then, when I finally finish wasting my time, she puts me in the same position she always puts me in: REGISTER. I’ve been there for almost SIX MONTHS and know much more than register.
In addition, even though I try my best to be really polite and professional, she always responds bluntly to everything I say and will walk away without even saying “You’re Welcome” to my “Thank You.”
Everyone loves Tiffany and she is always so nice and understanding to everyone but me. Her bosses love her, making me feel lonely at Chick-fil-A when she is joking with drive-thru, leaving me on register by myself.
I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. I am so nice to her and everyone else loves me but her. I feel like crying every time I work with her.
Any advice?

 | Last year I upgraded my laptop from HP Pavilion 17 (2013) which I have used for a good 10 years. It was running on Intel Core i5-3230M with Intel HD Graphics 4000 coupled with 4 GB DDR3L ram which I upgraded to 8GB. I mainly used it for office and sometimes indie games. The only “heavy” games I played on it was The Sims 4 and MnB Warband. It was okay but the battery have degraded so it doesn’t last very long and it overheats when play the said heavy games. Now I have upgraded to Acer PHN16-71, running on Intel Core i7-13700HX with RTX4060 and DDR5 16GB ram. I honestly thought that it is gonna be a huge leap from my previous laptop. I mean it can run GTA5, The Sims 4 and MnB Bannerlord. But despite being new it keeps overheating and the battery doesn’t last more than 3 hours of continuous gaming. Not to mention, when I played Total War Pharaoh it is laggy at Medium setting, below than 30fps somehow. Now that I looked up about RTX4060 and many reviewers saying that it is bad, it made me wonder if my laptop is gonna last as long as my previous one. It can’t even run The Sims 4 without abit of lag at the startup and overheating. I honestly don’t feel the impact from the upgrade especially since I spent more than $1500 on it.
