2024.11.25 22:40 Cottonmoccasin I Need Help Remembering a Band!
Hey all, for a while, I was listening to a doom band that had like an atmospheric tone to it. Almost like the early 40 Watt Sun work. For whatever reason, I am completely blanking completely on the band’s name, their album name, and the name of their songs despite how much I enjoyed their music. It has been driving me nuts, and I need help finding them again.
I remember their main album had an imagine of I think a house, kinda like it’s in space. I believe there was a lot of blue coloring on the image, and I think the house had a lot of black in it with its lights in the windows lit up. If I remember correctly, the band mostly used clean vocals between two vocalists that harmonized together. They had an organ player in the band (who sang), and one guitarist (also sang), one bass player, and one drummer I believe. They had a couple of live videos on YouTube where it seemed like they were playing in like a massive church or something like that. I remember the guitarist was using one of those common doom metal heads for an amp. I think his was “white” or it might’ve been “blue”. If I remember correctly, the guitarist was bald or had a short buzzed hair cut. The last thing I remember is I believe one of their songs had the word “window” in it.
Big shout out to someone that can put the mystery together for me. It is driving me nuts!!

I lost 2 pregnancies. During my second pregnancy , I didn’t even come up with a name but I dreamt my daughter introducing herself to me with her full name. It was so crazy. I dreamt about my second loss before it happened too and now I keep dreaming my baby. I keep dreaming that I have my baby or that I’m pregnant. What could be the meaning behind all of this? Is this like a spiritual spouse thing that I should pray away or what? It’s leaves me feeling so confused and conflicted.

Hello fellow renters,
I would like some advice on how to communicate a sense of urgency for my landlord to fix our leaking roof. Last Tuesday, WA was hit with a cyclops’s storm and a tree fell onto our roof. Directly over my bedroom to be exact. Tree was not removed till Saturday. Landlord said he would be back the next day (Sunday) to check the roof. He did not come by. We figured because it was drizzling out, the roof would be slick and that’s why he didn’t come. Late last night (around 11pm) I start hearing a dripping noice while I was watching tv in my room. Turned onto lamp because my overhead light wouldn’t turn on and saw water leaking from my ceiling. We messaged our landlord and didn’t hear anything. He came by today, said he wasn’t surprised there was a leak and he will put a tarp on the roof on Friday. He didn’t come in to check the leak or the roof. We offered to send him a photo of the leak, asked what we should do to prevent mold and he said to do nothing then left.
This leak is in my bedroom, I think it’s effecting the electrical because my overhead rooms light isn’t functioning. Im going to try replacing the lightbulb when I get home from work, before reaching out again and telling him. I’m worried about mold, as I already deal with asthma and a weak immune system, I don’t want to be dealing with mold effects. So my question is, is this okay? How should I ask my landlord to speed this repair up without sounding like I’m going off on him? Because frankly I’m pretty annoyed with his lack of communication and saying he won’t be out to even put a band aid tarp over it till the end of the week.

2024.11.25 22:40 neonsloth21 I have tried everything
This game crashes every 15 minutes. Im tried everything I've seen on here. I've gotten blue screens, direct X errors, crash with no error, etc.
Theres one main theme here, every time I fix one issue, theres a different one. The error is different every time. Either its the same problem every time and the error messages are wrong, or this game truly never left pre-alpha.
Clearly theres hundreds of other people playing the game, so what am I doing wrong?
Most recently I attempted deleting the bf2042 folder (infuriating because you cant set senstivity via config, so I have to change my DPI settings.)
This caused me the direct X error that I had previously fixed by setting DX12 to 1 in the CFG file.
So if I delete the CFG file the game doesnt run into the CFG crash, but then it runs into the DX12 crash "get device removed reason" bullshit. Every new game crashes, even the ones that ran just fine now started crashing because of updates. Fuck this industry.
Does anyone have the "one thing" that acutally works? Too many reddit threads going on about "hey wow this worked for me" and then an hour later "actually this didnt work, now I just dont get an error message".
At what point can we sue these crooks?

Can we all just agree that bathing Goldens isn't so bad, it's the hour+ time that it takes to dry all that fur 😭
Normally we'd send him to the groomer for his bath but by the time I thought about scheduling his vaccine boosters, the vet was booking out over a month and the groomer wouldn't touch him without his updated rabies. Ok my bad. Fine.
Even with my high powered hair dryer it still takes absolute ages to get his double coat to a reasonable dryness so he won't be leaving the carpet wet wherever he ends up laying down next.

2024.11.25 22:40 alextastic Is the V10 screen attached to the bezel? Or a separate piece underneath it?
I noticed the screen on my new V10 is not centered, and the left edge of the bezel covers a bit of the screen. There's also a noticable gap between the bezel on the right and where the edge of the screw is.
I'm trying to figure out if I can just scoot it over to fix this, or if it's attached with some sort of adhesive. I can't find a good teardown video, and I don't want to open mine up until I can figure out if it's even worth it. Anyone happen to know?
