Hi all, I'm a biotech grad student and I recently accepted an internship job offer at company A. It was the only one I heard back from and while the pay and commute suck, everyone was really friendly and I'm grateful they are on boarding me in February.
However, now company B, which was my idealized choice, finally got back to me asking if I was still interested. The pay is about the same, but the commute is 100x better and they work more closely with my university.
I'm not sure what to do. Should I interview with company B to see what they offer? Would that be leading them on? If it is better, how do I leave company A/should i leave? My contract says I can leave anytime with no reason, but ive been warned many times by professors that the biotech community here is very small, and I don't want to be labeled as unreliable or something.
Any advice is welcomed

Career employee here. When I go on liteblue and try to open eCareer I get this message. I had access 3 days ago, no access 2 days ago, access yesterday, and now no access again today. I called the HRSSC and they chopped it up to being a technical issue and gave me the number for my local field human resources who did not answer. The position I want to apply for closes tonight. Any tips?

I'm thinking about putting one in the room I airbrush in and removing the cover with the grow tent then directly venting the fumes outside. If I can then where would be the optimum place to put the intake that's inside the tent to ensure as much of the fumes being exhausted as possible?

2024.11.25 22:21 JamesWatchesTV I hate when I'm in love with a show and I'm getting closer and closer to the end.
It makes me not want to watch anymore bc I don't want to grieve the loss of the show and the characters I love so much 😭 I know it's pathetic but damnit these shows make me obsessed with these characters. Right now I'm watching a show I know apparently gets bad in the last 2-3 bc a couple main characters left. I'm only like 2 seasons away from that so that's also kind of worrisome bc I know the characters that leave and they are my favorite (it's always my favorite characters that leave). Apparently the finale itself is great but the overall last couple seasons were bad. So at least there's one good thing about it I guess.
