I’ve been playing Brawlhalla for five years and never understood why BMG doesn’t create an unranked mode that allows me to play on tournament maps with gadgets turned off.
I don’t like playing with gadgets in 1v1 because it doesn’t help me prepare for ranked matches, where I have them turned off. I’ve also met other players who share the same struggle.

Hey all,
I have a very nice sounding budget hifi system in my lounge room - a combination of Dali speakers, NAD amp and Polk sub picked up second hand along the way (need to upgrade the sub but that's for another day!), but I live with a housemate these days and find I'm spending more time in my room.
I've been listening to tunes on a portable bluetooth speaker (Bose Soundlink Flex) which is fine, but I'm sure I can get a better sounding cheap set up as it doesn't need to be portable. A lot of people recommend linking 2 x Soundcore Motion 300s for a cheap stereo set up but again I'm certain for not much more money some small powered speakers will sound much better than that.
A quick search of budget active speakers tends to point to Edifiers but I've heard some mixed reviews and so I thought I'd ask here.
I'd appreciate being able to use both a wired connection from my laptop, and also stream via bluetooth from my phone. I would imagine music will mostly be a low to moderate volumes as if I have the house to myself to crank the tunes I'll be on the big system.
As for placement I have a few options, a desk, a chest of drawers, on the bedside tables, a window sill.
I have a fairly varied taste in music and listen right across genres from to Rock to folk to electronic to pop (eg artists this week include, Tool, Trevor Hall, Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, Shpongle, Emancipator, Lucid Planet, Genesis, Fish In a Birdcage).
I hope this is enough information. I would love to hear what y'all use.
Oh, budget is $100-$300 AUD. I've kept it fairly loose due to all the sales on right now though preference is to spend less rather than more of course.

Hello all feel free to tell me your thoughts on this I blame cancel culture for a lot of things. It's a bit long but if you have the time please share your thoughts on this
I watched a black mirror episode hated in the nation where they started using the bees to enact death on people who used the death to hashtag and by the end of the episode everything was wrapped up nicely into a bow and took itself out.
Well we don't have robot bees to do that at this time so our outcome is different.
People defend trash behavior with their entire being now. When cc was still fresh the push back was very slow because people were processing. Whether you did an A tier awful thing or a D tier awful thing cancelation was the result.
A person who does 20 good things and 1 bad thing gets canceled. Well now a person who does 20 bad things and 1 good thing can now be redeemed the same way.
A few years into it people say cancel culture died but I think it manifested into an outcome folk haven't really explored where people start taking their faves trash behaviors as a loyalty test.
Before people would just be quiet if their fave did something awful but now people rationalize and defend it.
"They can never make me hate you."
People spout this off as if their fave is just being attacked for no reason(Which sometimes is the case but this seldom gets used in those moments)
A person now will learn of someone doing something awful and then instead of silence they start defending and questioning if it's really that bad. Even when it's obvious. In fact, I think people go harder when it's obvious the person is complete garbage.
You can tell people things using facts and logic but they don't take it as facts and logic they take it as you telling them to shut the fuck up so now they mad and want to "win" the discussion.
Sn: No troll has ever been like "wow this really made a lot of people mad I won't post stuff like this anymore D:" They just get worse. If noone responds they go look somewhere else.

I recently got my PC back from geek squad and when I plugged it into my TV and switched to the correct HDMI the display was completely black. I tried plugging in an Xbox and got the same result. Switched to Netflix and it will show all the movie options but if I select one it goes to black, shows subtitles though. I switched to a different TV which worked just fine. I tried resetting the video setting on my TV to no luck. Is this a PC problem or a problem with my TV? Either way someone please help!

Favorite:
- Skyline (perfect map)
- Derelict (very well designed and so so fun in free for all)
- Payback (good in every single game mode)
- Protocol (love the 2 buildings combat and underground area)
- Stakeout (amazing absolute chaos. It’s the Only tiny tiny map that I like )
- Gala (dogshit)
- Extraction (this might just be me but I always have terrible games here)
- Pit (maybe fun for like one game but feels too random )
- Red card (not as bad as everyone says but the flow is weird)
