Interned at Amazon in Seattle as an SWE during summers of 23' and 24', I was offered the full time position last week with only 10 days to accept or decline the offer. During my exit meeting with my manager he told me my offer would come with choice of city location and team but my offer letter explicitly said I would be working in the same building in Seattle. I contacted him and he told me to reach out to recruitment. Throughout my 2 year interactions with Amazon I only ever had one recruiter reach out to me and in my offer letter the recruiter named "Nour Salamat" had no contact info. I emailed onboarding twice and got 0 response looked up the recruiters name all over the internet and got nothing and my deadline for accepting is tomorrow
TLDR: Amazon recruitment is unresponsive and "recruiter" is a ghost who I only have the name of

 | This is really gross, and for that I apologize. My teenaged daughter just alerted me to this situation under her bathroom sink. Like a year ago I bought these organic tampons at Walmart. She never used them, just stashed them under the sink. Well this morning she discovered that the drain started leaking at some point, and filled the tampon canister with water. Horrifically, the water filled canister was also infested with these worms. We can only imagine the organic tampons were the source. Any Id ? 2024.11.25 21:25 sniper423 Looking for Replacement for G700s
I'm looking to replace the G700s solely because I'm tired of dealing with the compatibility issue of the legacy LGS application required to manage the G700s...notably that the app constantly wipes my on-device DPI profiles whenever the mouse sleeps - even if LGS is running as admin.
I've consistently used all of the buttons on my G700s for over 8 years now and had absolutely zero issues, and I *LOVE* simply being able to swap out my eneloop AAs for it when the battery is low. Before that, I had a G5 for years with no issues. In fact, I started using the G5 again a couple of years ago for a specific purpose, and it only died earlier this year.
However, all the posts about mice that talk about double-clicks and broken buttons is disturbing the hell out of me. And then there's the talk about embedded batteries not holding a charge within 2 years. I have no interest in the expense, frustration, or e-waste created by constantly replacing my mouse if I can avoid it, but all the posts I've seen make it seem like that's not an option.
Am I missing something? And does anyone have unicorns which fit the requirements, or some reasonable options which hit most of the marks? Price is mostly not an issue if the mouse will last longer.
