I KNOW doctor's make pledges to do no harm. But, come on. Sometimes they break rules for the greater good. It happened in the sister show, Grey's Anatomy, when Meredith switched documents so that Adele, Richard's wife, would get the treatment. Addison also breaks rules when it's necessary/ suits her, so I don't think she has the moral high ground here.
Statistically, pedophiles don't get better. They go to jail, get out, and commit the same crime, over and over again. It's ingrained in them. I, for one, wish they would all get the penalty and die already, so no more kids have to suffer. How many more kids got abused after a supposedly "reformed" pedophile got out of jail? I'm just saying: I get why Sam did what he did. It's not like he killed him! He just chose to stand back.
I know that it goes against the Doctor's rules, but sometimes it's what's necessary for the greater good.

2024.11.25 21:20 Epicp0w PSA - quests are borked after SIRCCA main quest
Just a FYI for anyone doing the main quests, the main quest broke after I left SIRCCA, I got locked out of an area with a door that wouldn't open and I got stuck. Also a settlement defence script completely broke and I couldnt do anything to help as all the NPC"s were stuck in a locked building. Just letting people know so they dont get screwed like I did.

Hi all! Looking both here and over at namenerds for help naming a character who kind of inspired me to build an entire world around him. It'd be a heavy urban fantasy setting with a lot of references to Chinese mythology and classic novels brought into present day, so while I'm aware I'll need to do a lot of research for this, I'd still like to settle on that first character's name.
The character is a very short muscular brawler type, gets into a lot of fistfights, has a very fiery personality. He's also very in touch with his cultural background and customizes a lot of his own clothes with Chinese designs and patterns, so he usually wears things like a hoodie decked out with auspicious clouds, stylized flames from the Twelve Ornaments on his sneakers, and so on. Strong associations with fire, debating adding an elemental theming to the cast as well.
Working name for him right now is "Lù Fēi'ān" (祿绯安) and I'm aware I went out of my way with some less common character choices here, so I'm definitely open to help on this one. I love the way it sounds now, but if the characters sound like something unfortunate put together like this, I'd rather know now. The only one I really don't want to compromise on is the Fei syllable, because of its meaning and how it sounds the same as Zhang Fei's personal name.

Hello! i am almost completely done figuring out my workflow with on the mpc1000, the only problem is that when i try to record separate tracks to export into my daw, the recordings come out extremely low, i even tried turning up the record gain which don’t work. what can i do to not make the recordings so low i can barely work with them?

I hit X (KBM) fuicking 37 times because I'm low on ammo, and it wont throw out my ammo or utility boxes. And if I want to airstrike, I hit 3 and it either says CANNOT USE in the crosshair, or I can aim the scope for it, but does nothing when I hit my fire button. This shit is bugging hard, this is the new warzone, playing resurgence 99

Hi, just wondering if there are any Malaysians here or anyone who has gone and done surgery there, and know if seed oils are in hospital food, or if some basic meals there can be provided without seed oils. I know in general Palm Oil is a thing used in lots of cooking, which to my knowledge is the least worst of them all..
Ive only done basic healthcare there with no surgeries or overnight stays and have not eaten food in there so no experience on that part but am leaving the west to likely have to get surgery soon + overnight stays and am either considering KL or Bangkok, does anyone have any knowledge on what to do here as seed oils cause me severe allergies.
