I actually have an a320mh biostar, 16gb of ram, 1440p, gtx 1650, r5 3500x and i wanna upgrade gpu and cpu.Im planning to buy an rtx 4070 super and a ryzen 5 7600x, hoping that i can in the future put them in a better build, in 3 years from now minimum. is that dumb ? Is it too much for my actual motherboard ? Will these 2 components last long ? If it's not a great idea, what should i do?Brand new build ? Cheaper gpu ? Change the motherboard ?

A bit long but I wanted to lay out some detail.
In May 2017, Chester's seven consultants signed a document for the police, giving their "reasons for concern" that deaths on the neonatal ward were suspicious. This seems to have been the tipping point to start the police investigation.
From the opening paragraph:
"From June 2015 there were 13 deaths in the 13 months. The probability of this increase in mortality occurring by chance alone is very low. Many of the babies who died were born at gestations where death is statistically very unlikely (Appendix 1)."
Appendix 1 duly shows that about 98% of babies born at 32 weeks make it to their first birthdays. It's not a very precise graph. Brearey spoke to the same point in police notes on the meeting. Nearly 100% of 32+ weekers survived, he said. The report continues:
6 babies were >32 weeks gestation. The redesignation of the unit from July 2016 (only permitted to care for babies >32 weeks gestation) cannot therefore be the only reason why there have been no deaths or sudden unexplained deteriorations of babies on the unit since July 2016.This is statistically illiterate but worse than that: it's deeply dishonest. Every consultant who signed this was deliberately misleading the police.
Why? Four out of those six babies had clear diagnoses which gave them much lower odds of survival. The fifth was poor baby D. I don't know anything about the sixth except that they were born in February or March 2016 and Letby was never charged with killing them. But one full term death in two years is hardly a murder case.
Here are the details:
July 2015, baby D, 37 weeks. Died of pneumonia after her mother was deprived of the antibiotics needed to keep her safe.

September 2015, unknown baby, 39 weeks. Had the dreadful and very rare Varadi Papp syndrome, where death as a newborn or early in life is expected: about 50% of the children studied from birth seem to have died in the first weeks after birth https://omim.org/entry/277170

June 2016, triplets O and P. They were rare identical and therefore monochorionic triplets: these triplets have a neonatal survival rate of 95%. https://www.mdpi.com/2077-0383/13/6/1793#B79-jcm-13-01793 (and lots of other sources for an approx 5 times higher mortality rate than singletons.
There are a lot of problems with the consultants' claims, but I find this particularly bad:
The issue with triplets is well known, and those two congenital conditions are not minor. They gave case summaries in the same document. They knew about these conditions.
The point on their unit is null and void: not one of these children would have been born there with advance planning, after June 2016. Or they'd have been transferred out fast.
The attempt to use this statistic shows a huge lack of respect for the police. They knew it didn't apply. The police couldn't know that. So they were happy to mislead the police to get their version of events in.
What really comes across here is how hard it would be for management to trust these people. Even if they believed Letby was guilty, they acted in bad faith here. And if you play fast and loose with the facts, you can't complain when people don't believe you.
There are other problems with the document, but this alone is an absolute disgrace - and makes it easy to believe that any of them would have twisted their evidence from that point on.

So I was watching a number of lets plays and the number of ppl with their torch on at night outside is somewhat perplexing. I know its dark but there is eye adjustment in the game with the torch off I at least can see better in the dark at a distance. I only turn it on when in doors or if I need to check a crevice or something.
Anyone else the same?

I made the mistake of using only dichlor for a few weeks (with non-chlorine shock) and just checked the CYA level and I'm already at 70. Problem is it's throwing off my alkalinity when adjusted for CYA. Also, doesn't it increase the amount of free chlorine I need? I was keeping the FC at about 5, but maybe that's too low for this CYA? Next fill I'll watch this closer then switch to bleach. Thanks

Sorry if my formatting is weird. I don’t post or even comment on Reddit. I just stalk. I work in private security, and although I’ve been here for a month, it seems like my job is doing some real shady stuff. The company is based in California, but the branch I work for is in Kentucky, and management often cites “California” for the reason why things are the way they are, which started my suspicion, I’m across the damn country. Our shifts are staggered by 30 mins because our 30-min break is unpaid, so the 1st is 8:00-4:30 and the 2nd is 4:00-12:30. It seems like regardless of if we take a lunch or not, we aren’t paid for that 30 mins, which has caused lots of issues because at my post we don’t do breaks and often don’t have time to some days. We used to just leave early because our relief was already there,but management has gotten onto people about that as it’s “Time Fraud” even though what they are doing seems like the real Time Fraud. Im just unsure as their reasoning being “California makes the rules” is just shady asf. Feel free to ask me any questions if you want more info.
