2024.11.26 00:39 Pacificsnorthwest How to keep a baby awake
I have an almost 12 week old baby boy who loves to sleep. He goes down easily for naps (we do 1.25/1.5/1.25/1.5/2) and does a good bedtime routine where he’ll usually go to sleep by about 8:30-9pm. He sleeps from 9pm - 3:30am, does a 45 min feed and then sleeps 4:15am-7:15ish, and then will go back down for a nap about 75 mins later. I try not to let him nap for longer than 2 hours at a time during the day, but sometimes it’s really hard to keep him awake between naps. Should I make his bedtime earlier so he gets more night sleep? Or anyone have pro-tips to keep a baby awake? We already turn on all the lights but are also careful not to overstimulate him.
Also- we live in the PNW and it’s dark here pretty much all day. It rains all day and then it gets dark dark at 4:30pm. I try and take him out once a day while it’s still light, but I also hate taking him out in the rain… any tips?

My remote for my 2017 Backfire Board is officially gone/broke and tech support basically said I’m screwed.
SO. I’m looking to just get a new board. It’s been 7 years and I think I’ve earned it for myself. So I wanted to get opinions from here. I’m looking at the MEEPO boards currently.
I don’t plan on off-roading. I just want a nice smooth ride and don’t have to worry about range, definitely want 20mile range and above.

Between 5x30mm and 6x30mm durham tubes, which one will provide stability, proper submersion, and sufficient headspace for a 27 mL broth tubes? or should I use the 32 mL broth tube ones?

Hey I just got 2 kittens and I was curious how many different proteins I should feed them daily, What’s a good rotation? I’ve been feeding them 4 to 5 times a day and I just want to make sure they’re getting a good verity everyday but also I don’t want to over do it. Also I’m only feeding them wet food and have toppers as well I’ve been adding.
