Hi.
I have a CC ($23k) with a high interest rate that I just recently negotiated down from 24.99% to 22.49%. The bank (BoA) said that was the best they could do for me.
This debt is old and has slowly accumulated over about 9 years. It accumulated due to a nasty divorce, medical bills, living expenses while I was trying to finish my college degree as a single mom, home repair, etc. I'm putting the card in a block of ice after I make this post.
I have a credit score of 744. I've looked at SoFi. They're offering a rate of about 10.77% for 36 months with the autopay deduction bonus. I've heard about Lightstream but I've also heard that they do a hard pull on your credit during the application process.
Is there a better offer I can get anywhere? I recently got a bump in pay and can now push $1-1.2k/month towards the debt, but the current interest rate is awful.
Any suggestions for a balance transfer card, personal loan, or whatever you can think of would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This isn’t an attempt at a flex or whatever but my youngest has banned me from mentioning him on things and so (mostly) anonymous Reddit is pretty much all I’m left..
He’s done pretty well, seems first choice in his position (a forward which horrifies his back dad) for both his region and is now in National age-group camp, and I’ve recently been contacted by 2 rugby heavy schools wanting to poach him.
He may or may not earn a test cap but, as a club 14 at best, makes me proud (and everyone here is asleep so you’re all I’ve got to talk too) 😄

Im buying everything now cause Black Friday sales and would rather not have to wait until after Christmas to see if I’ll need to buy an extra cable.
I’ve seen some other people have the issue where their usb cable’s blocky part (like the one that surrounds the connector thing?) was too big to fit into the drawing tablet’s port. If anyone has used an iPhone 15 charger to use their drawing tablet I’d like to know if it fits. Thank you!

Hey! We have a 2014 Rex fully loaded with comfort access, out of nowhere after a wash both doors decided not to lock when touching the outside of the handle. I’ve checked the back doors and the trunk and they seem closed.
In the app it says that all doors are closed and I do not get any notifications in the car to indicate any faults.. The unlocking by touching the inside of the handle works as normal. Please tell me it’s an easy fix

So I have a dog who is 10 years old, I’m 31 now I got her when I was 21 and I was a complete idiot and got her while I was homeless, young and living in Hawaii and the owners told me she was a mutt but that she had some wolf/dingo dna. I still don’t know if that’s true, the person I got her from was a meth head but I did a dna test on her eventually and she’s mostly husky and pit bull but there was about 15% that the test couldn’t categorize so… maybe? Anyway.. I kinda believe it now just based on her temperament and her prey drive. Ever since she was a puppy, she had a very high prey drive. When she was less than 6months old she ran off during a hike in Hawaii and killed a baby wild pig, shortly after she broke into my neighbors chicken coop and killed multiple chickens. I got some help and through being very strict with her was able to rein her in a bit but you can’t take the instinct out of the dog. Some years later I moved back to california and lived with my parents and then when I got my own place the landlord wouldn’t let me bring her, she had done well thus far at my parents house and they adored her and my rental was only about 5 mins away so they agreed to just keep her there. Well, long story short my parents were on vacation in Mexico at some point and my dog killed my moms chihuahua. Mind you she was co-existing with this dog perfectly fine for years before this happened. It was obviously tragic and everybody was trying to convince me to put her down.. but I just couldn’t do it as much and I considered doing it. I ended up moving to a new place where I could bring her and thought I could fix her.. can’t ever take her around other dogs, she’ll be playing fine with them and randomly snap and attack them.. oh I forgot to mention before she killed my moms dog she actually popped her other dogs eye out of her socket by snapping at her and had to get the eye out back in and also attacked a random small dog on a walk too. So while she’s been living with me I also have a cat, and my girlfriend has a French bulldog. We can’t risk my dog being left alone with the small animals so we are forced to make her be outside most of the time… it kills me because I feel like I’m abusing my dog but I don’t know what else to do and I can’t rehome her because I would have to tell them about her history and nobody wants to take that on. My girlfriend thinks I should take her to a shelter cause she has no quality of life and I kinda agree but I just feel so guilty because I feel like it’s all my fault and that I somehow could have done a better job with her to prevent this all happening, I guess it feels like demonizing my dog for just being a dog. They don’t understand anything else
