2024.11.26 00:12 P0tentP0table Printing horizontal lines flat on the bed to recreate layer lines?

I'm using an SV06 Plus to print several tall, thin models. Most of them have 90° angles that act as supports, but two consist of just flat walls. These are part of a brick facade, and when the print reaches about 110–120mm in height, the vibrations from the bed movement or extruder cause it to wobble too much. This results in the print curving, making it unusable for my project. I tried changing the orientation of the model so that it would be in line with the bed movements but it didn't save the print.
I'm wondering if there's a slicer setting or technique I can use to print the model flat on the bed while retaining the same left-to-right layer line appearance, so it matches the rest of the facade I've already printed. I found how to get the top fill lines to run left to right but I can't seem to disable the perimeters so there's still a spiral around every brick.
I also considered adding custom supports to reinforce the model from the back to reduce wobbling, but it seems Cura has removed that option—or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said the state will provide rebates to residents if President-elect Donald Trump's incoming administration does away with a federal tax credit for electric vehicles.
In a news release issued Monday, Newsom said he would restart the state's Clean Vehicle Rebate Program, which provided financial incentives on more than 590,000 vehicles before it was phased out late 2023.
We will intervene if the Trump Administration eliminates the federal tax credit, doubling down on our commitment to clean air and green jobs in California," Newsom said. "We’re not turning back on a clean transportation future — we’re going to make it more affordable for people to drive vehicles that don’t pollute."

For those who have a jobs, do you ever try and use your break to write fanfiction? I know for some jobs like lawyers, doctors, nurses, it’s probably harder. But I’m just curious, I guess.
I am a new employee at a department store and I use my break to go onto social media and write a bit. It’s amazing how much I can type out in 15 mins (I only get 15 when my job is less than 5 hrs) 😅.

okay so i know next to nothing about machine learning all i know is from a finance class im taking this semester where we're using R studio. i have a question about test sets and training sets on a growing data set.
if i have a dataset that i am continually adding new data to and i want to do some testing using a training set and a test set, is it best to build a model using a training set that is static and the test set grows in absolute and relative terms as i add more data,,, or,,, is it better to keep the test and training set the same size relative to each other by increasing the size of both the training set and the test set proportionally as the dataset grows, thus adjusting the model as the dataset grows? i assume the latter but just want to make sure because we havent done anything in my class involving modeling across a growing dataset.
