Does anyone have a good explanation/update on all of the "stories" of otherwise highly recommended dashcams having issues (especially with recording corruption and the like)?
I have seen a lot of posts about people having read about someone having an issue with various brands.
I use Samsung Pro Endurance SD cards for the focus on overwriting and high speed for 4k/multi-stream. My current dashcam is a Nextbase 622GW - been fine recording but horrible customer service wrt it falling and damaging my touch screen.

I'm going to start an Empire army (Averland) and I'm trying to decide which 3d models to go with OPR or Highlands. I know Highlands will need to be downscaled which isn't a problem. Just curious if anyone else has made this decision. Do both creators have the full built model supported for printing? or do you have to print parts and assemble or preassemble in mixer? 2024.11.26 00:51 Alright_Still_ Are online programs to become LMFT well regarded? Are there affordable options?
I'm looking into programs to become an LMFT (or possibly LCSW).
I may not be able to attend an in person program because the only local state school (ie affordable) I already have a master's degree from and may be declined admission as they don't like to allow two master's degrees. I'm waiting to find out.
I've looked into online programs but they seem to be equally expensive as in person private universities (which I've already ruled out - there are two in my city), and also the online programs have controversial reputations - some people insisting they are subpar and/or just degree mills... Others saying they are a viable option and that we need more therapists, so let's support what allows people to become therapists...
Anyway, I would welcome any resources on this matter. I'm in California if it's relevant.

I've often heard of how before understanding their sexuality a lot gay men pretend to be straight, engaging in relationships, sex and even getting married before realizing they don't actually enjoy any of it in the same way other men do. Where other men were having fun they had been playing out a script. Looking back at all those experience they had and wondering how many of those emotions had been genuine. I'm curious what that felt like for you, both in the moment and looking back at it now. For reference I'm not talking about being fully aware of your sexuality but hiding it for practical/external reasons but specifically lying to yourself for so long you didn't even realize until in one moment the mask beneath your face cracked. How did it feel to say "I love you" to your girlfriend even though you didn't mean it the same way she did and how it feels looking back on it now? Do you know why you did any of it? What made you enter and keep up of those fake relationships? Why you kept living out someone else's life? My apologies if I'm not the most coherent.

I'm currently using Ryzen 5 3600 (8x4 ram) works perfectly. Tried to install new r5 5600 and 5700x3d in my mobo(Asus TUF b450m+) but PC won't boot. It boots stable with 1 ram stick. Also, if I put ram in 3 or 4 slot, it won't boot up. Tried : resetting CMOS/ enabling xmp. Pls help👻

I (35F) started dating a recently separated guy (38M) after we initially met for a hookup but ended up vibing really well. We had a lot in common and enjoyed each other's company, so we kept dating. Early on, he got "weird" and we had a talk about his emotions and expectations. I told him I was going with the flow and encouraged him to process his recent breakup in a healthy way. I tried to be understanding and supportive, and he felt comfortable opening up about it.
After two months, he brought up wanting to make things official. I was hesitant but asked if he was sure, and he said yes. Two weeks later, he cooked me a romantic meal but then abruptly ended things the next morning, saying he "wasn't as attracted to me" anymore. He also claimed he'd been distant recently, which wasn't true—he had been sweet and affectionate the entire time.
When I asked if it was about my stomach, he admitted it was, which felt like a cop out. 2024.11.26 00:51 invisiblebyday Beetlejuice (Spoilers): Until recently I never noticed these two logic flaws in this Gen X classic - Have you experienced this with 80s/90s movies you know well?
Spoilers** There's more than two logic flaws in the movie but these I never noticed over the decades until this weekend. Doesn't matter; it's a fun movie.
Barbara and Adam died at the bridge/river. Shouldn't they be haunting that spot instead of their house?
Also, many of the ghosts they meet, presumably look the same as they did when they died, like that guy run over by the car. Barbara and Adam though, don't look like they were in a car accident nor drowned.
Obviously there's story telling explanations for this. They haunting their own home is an important plot point. Same too, they looking non-scary, rather than corpse-like, helps them seem more sympathetic (and easier on the make-up effects).
