She has a black car, 2 doors instead of 4, making it classified as a sports car even though it really isn’t.
I always look for it on the road. It has made me realize that almost nobody drives 2 door cars.
I think one day when I stop noticing this, I’ll know I’m really over it.

Thinking of homebrewing a heavy SMG that takes advantage of railgun velocities to fire rounds with an extremely flat trajectory, reducing the need to lead the shot and the probability of over or undershooting the target. This makes it better for moving targets and/or low visibility while not being as expensive per shot as a smart weapon. However, I'm not sure how that would work mechanically. Any ideas?

2024.11.26 00:40 mavric91 Cat proof home theater set up?
New HT setup is going where the cats have access to. I'm not too worried about them messing with stuff. Biggest worry is them knocking things over...
TV (65") space is tight, and tv will be in front of a window. So wall mounting is out. The plan is to get a a media stand with a built in mount. Then the TV can be mounted at the proper height and it will be nice and secure. Other thought is to get a media console with feet so it sits off the ground, then we can get a separate tv stand to put behind it. Any thoughts on this or recommendations?
Side channels (KEF Q150s): The SO thinks speaker stands don't look good. But I think they will be the best option given the space. My biggest worry is the cats nocking them over by jumping onto/off of them. So ideally the speakers attach to the stands in some way and the stands themselves are nice and stable. And hopefully they look somewhat nice (she doesn't like the plain metal pole look). Again any suggestions would be appreciated.
Anything else I'm overlooking?

Hi! I'm another WA tenant hit by the recent cyclone. My lease includes additional terms: "LANDLORD is responsible for the maintenance of the yard and landscaping...". I informed my landlord that our yards are covered in small, medium, and large branches, with pictures of said branches and a dented gutter, and he replied "ok thanks" by text. That was 5 days ago, and he hasn't taken any action to clean it up. In the last few days I've done most of the work to clean up the medium/large branches and prepare them for the bulk yard waste pickup my city is providing this week and next week. I'd be happy enough if I could deduct the materials/labor from my next month's rent, as I believe you can do in Washington State for tenant self-repair, but I can't find any resources on what I should charge for my hourly labor.
