I’ve ripped almost every pair of pants I get usually within a years or two time. The most recent pair I got that I thought would last me just started to rip right in the center and it’s coming up on 2 years. I’m looking for a brand of pants that is durable and won’t get destroyed as fast. I’ve looked to Fjallraven (expensive as hell) Kühl (affordable but pricey) and maybe purchasing from Duluth Trading even though that’s the pair I own right now so I’m hesitant to buy again. I’m so entrenched in writing philosophical sociological theory papers for school right now - my brain feels like it’s gonna explode.
I’ve learned so many bad things about society, just to go online and see them reinforced by the masses. I saw a video earlier from a girl with a neuroscience degree titled “5 neuroscience backed ways to rewire your brain to make more money” and .. it just makes me terrible. It feels awful to spend weeks thinking about the exploitative nature of capitalism and then see it everywhere and be part of it myself. It feels awful to think so deeply about the everyday power dynamics engaged in the stigmatization and othering of marginalized groups in a system that doesn’t care and people that don’t care - to no fault of their own.
I find it all deeply fascinating, but I wonder how famous sociologists find joy in their studies. I could write sociology texts, but I’d be depressed. But now I feel guilt when I choose to willfully ignore the things I know - or when I wish I could see that article title and see no issue with it. I feel guilt when I wish I could be a farmer and just disconnect from all of it.
I’ve always struggled with anxiety and depression, and I’m drawn to thoughts that exacerbate them.
Am I just no cut out for this? Do professional sociologists just have a higher baseline than me? How do you guys deal with this?

This is what I’m currently struggling with on my specific person manifestation journey. Right now the behavior is very hot and cold. This is because I am constantly switching between a state of being happy and being upset based on the current 3D circumstance. I am having a really hard time letting go because I really want this person back (and we still talk daily so the 3D is hard to ignore). The thing is I know I’m right for them it’s more of a timing issue currently and I start getting really upset when they aren’t saying what I want them to say. How do I just let go and live in the end? I almost feel like I’m not allowing myself to do it because what if I’m giving myself false hope? Any advice here from successful Sp manifesters who manifested from difficult circumstances would be appreciated. My problem is I literally cannot figure out how to stay in the wish fulfilled state since the 3D triggers me greatly. I even have a hard time getting into the state at all when I perceive my 3D circumstances as bad.

Hello,
I hope someone can help me. A few days ago, my landlord gave me an eviction notice because he is demolishing the house, but here is the interesting part: to start with, I live in a laneway house (little house in the back yard) that was built in 2019 so for me doesn't make any sense that someone would demolish a 5 years old house, this landlord was renting both houses the main one and ours, exactly 1 year ago he evicted the people that was living in the main house as he/she said he/she was moving in, but they abandon it for 8 months, until also a few days ago he/she rented it again so here is our story: they do not have the permits approved yet so I know that I can dispute the eviction and gain more time, but I'll like to know if someone has been in this situation as well as I'm pretty sure that they are not demolishing the house what should we do or any tips?
