This is the second dog I have lost in 5 months.My last golden Bailey died in a freak accident and I was just recently getting somewhere with my grief, feeling better.
I had been present for one of my golden’s euthanasia’s prior, but my pom’s euthanasia today has fucked me up.
I held her for the sedation. My mom wanted to leave when they administered the other medicine, but I wanted to stay. I wanted to be there for her and keep telling her how good of a girl she was- even if she couldn’t hear me.
I ended up having a panic attack at the vet and was so upset my vet and vet tech were tearing up. I now have the image of my poor Gracie lying on the table dead. It’s all I can think about. I can’t sleep because I see her everytime I close my eyes. Was this wrong for my mental health? Did I mess up by trying to be too strong for her?

I’m looking for a VERY SPECIFIC book for my daughter that I vividly remember my grandma having and I can’t find it anywhere to order😭 its incredibly important to me. It has a bunch of nursery rhymes and fairy tales. It almost like a mother goose book. It was a pretty thick book and had TONS of stories like humpty bumpy, hey diddle diddle, the old woman who lived in a shoe, etc… I’m not sure if it’s just a vintage book they don’t make anymore or what. I’ve tried looking online too and can’t find anything like it. If you know what I’m talking about please help me find it😭

I’ve noticed in a few posts that people are taking supplements like magnesium to improve their sleep. But unless you have a diagnosed sleep disorder, why start with supplements, especially if you’re young? Are people trying other natural methods before resorting to supplements? I feel like relying on these might make it harder to sleep without them in the long term.
Personally, I have a heavy protein meal late at night or coffee in the evening, I struggle to fall asleep. But when I hit the gym, stay properly hydrated, and avoid picking up my phone right before bed😄, I sleep really well.
Its from someone who has been obsessed with tracking sleep data for the past few years. I used to take pride in staying up until 3 a.m., but things have changed since then. What’s your take on using sleep supplements? 36M

 | Put the electronics in a drawer, then put some books on top of said electronics, then put some clothes and tuck a shirt into the back. This way, when they catch you on your phone on TikTok at 12:00 AM, and try to take everything else away, they won’t be able to find them and because of the weight of the books, they won’t be able to tell what drawer has the electronics in it. Earth, 2025, There is a girl called Jessica Rylstone, she is 20 years old, she has long blonde hair with green eyes, she lives with her mum and dad, she goes to collage studying chemistry, and has a job at the local chippy near her house, she is bored with her life, she longs for adventure, but her current life is dry and bland. One day, on a cold wet morning, rain pouring down, she is walking to collage, she sees a shadowy figure in the corner of her eye... she looks in the area she saw the figure, nothing there. She thinks nothing of it.
Later that afternoon, she walks home from college with her mates, suddenly, she sees the same figure, just in the corner of her eye... she turns her head to look at it... there is nothing there. "You alright Jess?" One of her friends asks. "Yeah, I'm fine." She said sheepishly. "What is it? What is it doing on Earth? Why can you see and not other people?"

 | Semi new to FDM printing, and just got my bambu A1. I was setting this up for the AMS enclosure, but saw this looks like it was dusted or with something or smeared. I googled it, bu per the filament I am using (Sunlu general PLA white) it should be fine to print at the settings I have of: Bed temp 65 Nozzle temp: 220 Speed for initial (what's in video), 105 This says bed temp should be 60, the nozel temp between 210-240 for the speeds I'm printing at Hopefully this is all the info yall need but happy to give more! submitted by XionsMyst to 3Dprinting [link] [comments] |
