I’m looking to use convert some Amex Membership Rewards Points to Avios with BA Executive Club but it says 3 working days as the transfer time.
However for Qatar airways which also uses Avios it says they will transfer instantly.
If I transfer them to Qatar will they be visible in BA Executive Club instantly too or locked to Qatar?

I sometimes read novels that I find interesting when they pop up when im scrolling on Facebook, and I was trying to get the link to the app for this novel but my phone timed out and I lost it. It been on my mind and I want to try to find it. It's about a girl, I believe she's 8 in the story. I don't remember if she was kidnapped by her mom, or if she was taken by a random couple. But she and the two boys the kidnappers are the parent of, are being abused by them. I think the kidnappers die, or are arrested, and the kids are called to the school office. I'm currently pulling CNY 25k per month in Shanghai (China's most expensive city), which is quite enough for me (I save CNY 10k a month). There's a similar role in Tokyo offering me JPY 500k per month. I'm wondering whether to take the Tokyo role. Tokyo does seem like a more interesting place to live in. I'm a sleazeball and prefer a city with a lot more "action" going on, if you catch my drift. Basically, as far as fun, Tokyo >>> Shanghai, which is why I'm considering the offer. I'm just concerned about living costs. Would JPY 500k per month be enough there to afford a similar standard of living as the one I have right now? I heard rent on the high end in Tokyo is JPY 90k per month, which from 500k, doesn't seem to too bad, and again, that's on the high end, so I could save by getting something cheaper. That would leave me with 400k after rent, which seems quite comfortable. Am I right?

Last year, I was diagnosed with a rare grapefruit-sized tumor in my chest wall cavity. The cost of medical treatment amounted to £3,000 before the NHS could intervene, adding a heavy burden to our already strained finances.
Additionally, as an American living in the UK, my work visa renewal through the NHS was denied last year. To stay together, my husband and I decided to marry quickly. Our budgeted wedding cost £4,000, but it had to be held in the UK, stretching our finances even further. We also incurred over £4,000 in legal fees while applying for a marriage visa for myself.
Amidst all this, we were involved in a severe head-on collision on the motorway last year, where a car stopped suddenly in front of us. Thankfully, we only suffered from hematomas and serious bruising, but we had to replace our car, costing us another £4,000.
As I am still waiting for my new visa to arrive, I cannot legally work yet, placing immense stress on my husband to cover our expenses on a single income.
