I do not get along with my relatives for many reasons, and I'm sure I can't be the only one. I also consequently do not want to get married or be a parent.
I know very few people in my life who share these views, but those who are my friend mean the world to me. All my friends give me more fulfilment than any family member.
Plus, sometimes having friends in other time zones helps me when I can't sleep. I'm in eastern Australia (UTC+10) and I speak English, French, and German if that helps.
My interests include cars, classical music, cats, analogue watches, writing fiction, and believe it or not - mermaids.

I recently joined a new coaching center, and I’m the only one who’s completely new here. Most of the students have been attending for years, or at least since the start of this year. Some have even stopped coming, and others are planning to leave by December since it’s the end of the academic year.
Two of my classmates also attend this coaching center. One of them is my childhood friend, but we don’t get along at all—we actively avoid each other. The other classmate is someone I’m close friends with, but she’s closer to the first girl I mentioned.
Initially, I managed to make a few friends there, but they’ve stopped coming. Now, my close friend talks more to the other girl and their group because they won’t see each other after December. This leaves me feeling awkward and left out.
I tried focusing on my studies and managed to finish all the problems given for the day, but after that, I had nothing to do for 45 minutes. I ended up just doodling in my notebook, feeling sad and excluded. I even tried talking to my close friend while heading home, but she was busy chatting with the others, which only made me feel worse.
This is not the first time I’ve really felt left out in a situation like this. In my past coaching centers, summer camps, and school, I’ve always been able to fit in and make friends. Even though I’m not super popular, i'm well known even with the teachers and I have my own circle of friends and not felt like I didn’t belong.
I know part of the problem is that I’m new and everyone here already has their groups formed from years of knowing each other. But it’s hard not to feel bad when I’m used to being included. At the same time, I know this is part of the real world—learning to handle and understand situations where you don’t immediately click with others.
How do I deal with this? How can I stay positive and make the best of this situation? Would like to have any advice

2024.11.26 12:41 No_Opening_1060 PC keeps lagging when I start the game to the point where it’s unplayable
I bought God of War Ragnarök about a week ago from epic games, because that’s where I had bought the 2018 one from, and the game ran really well at first, but just today I started my pc and tried to start the game, but by the time I reached the menu screen my whole game was super laggy and unresponsive. Even when I exited the game my computer still was super laggy and unresponsive until I powered it off. Every time I’ve tried entering the game since then it’s had the same error and I don’t know how to fix it. All my stuff is up to date, I have more than the minimum requirements to play the game, I deleted and redownloaded the game, and I’ve done everything that both epic games and play station suggested but nothing worked. I don’t use controller so I don’t think that’s the issue. If anyone has some way to fix it I’d love to hear it because this game has been amazing up until this point.

Hello. Looking for thoughts between the three hitches I am considering. I live in northern Canada. I will be towing with a 23 tundra hybrid, with airbags. My TT is a keystone hideout, 26bhwse, so about 30ft with a frame. It’s about 6000 dry. We will be driving a lot through the mountains this year. I currently have a crappy curt wdh, which does fine, but is a PITA to hook up and whatnot. I’m debating between three:
B&w continuum - I love how quick it appear to hook up and disconnect. Ease of this super appealing. Haven’t seen a lot of reviews on this though.
Weighsafe middle weight - like the app, good reviews.
Propride - super expensive, adds a lot of weight, but heard it’s the best. But I’ve also read it will to the most wear and tear on the tt and truck. Is the driving experience worth all the negatives?

I’ve been thinking of purchasing a grinder to travel with for a while and with the ongoing/upcoming Black Friday deals, I decided to get one. I have a ZP6 that I’ve been traveling with but I’m looking for something smaller and cheaper that I will only use for traveling. Right now, I’m looking at the 1Zpresso Q2 or Q Air but came across the KINGrinders while browsing the sub. I’ll mostly be using my Aeropress while traveling but the grinder does not need to fit in it necessarily.
