So I'm early career into a specialized tech role, devops. Its rare to get the level of responsibility I have this early. And working on modern tech. I was doing data as a first job for 1.5 years and now I'm 6 months into Devops.
I'm handling it extremely well. 3 out of 4 other people quit (mundane reasons) and I'm keeping everything running while still being able to roll out decent sized improvements.
But,, as the title says, I'm trans and this is the middle east. I'm leaving, its just an issue of when.
My options are:
1) asylum, but that would a very funny gap in the resume
2) keep working til I get an offer from somewhere else, but that might take years..
3) university, I've saved enough for that
4) a friend wants to marry me, but I'll then be in the US and that's scary. Does open doors though.
I'd love to hear from other trans people if they are kicking around here

I posted in this sub last week after our first therapy session and got such wonderful responses that helped me get thru the week. I want thank everyone who responded it is so appreciated.
Recap: DDay was 11/04/24. I found out my WH(48), me(49) of 14 years was having an affair with a boss at a store he works at on Fridays. Last week, I got divorce papers and told him I was going to file, which upset him. He then started talking more seriously about R.
According to him: this lasted only a few weeks. They met up twice. He spent an entire night in her home but "nothing happened, he didn't come home because he had been drinking, slept on the couch". Tho there are photos of him kissing her neck. The second meet up was during lunch at work and she gave him a BJ. There was a lot of sexting and phone calls. (He maintains no intercourse). He was talking like she was his soulmate and she understood him and he felt 16 yrs old again. Now, since he wants R, he is saying in therapy that he has ended it with her and there is no relationship at all and no contact.
I would add right here that I have seen her and do not think she is more attractive than me. She is his age and is nothing special. I can see why she would throw herself at WH. Even though I am 49, I look like I am in my 30s because I take good care of myself.
Is this even possible? It would mean, he is OK with NC at all with her, including the one day a week he has to work in her store. Which means he sees her, but any contact is "professional".
I'm having a hard time accepting that he could go from one extreme to the other so fast. Couldn't get enough of her to nothing. And how can he look at her on those one workdays and not feel anything (because when I ask him, that is what he says). He also says she is OK with this ending. So she's ok with loosing this relationship, if you want to call it that, just like that???
I'm struggling with comprehending with trusting that he is being truthful. Any thoughts?

I JUST upgraded to a Z90 board and an i7 14700kf.
My normal use is gaming (star citizen, ready or not, total war series, read dead ect) with maybe a few times a year I do heavy photo editing in Lightroom.
After seeing some reviews and people talking about the AMD 7800x3d and then the new 9800x3d I am wondering if I made a mistake and should swap over.
I have never used AMD before so I just went with what I knew but I think I am getting FOMO from AMD.
