The spell does not seem to be doing any real damage on my Linux system, it's like the hitboxes are off or something. Thinking this could be possible since these games likely do a bunch of stuff client side only.

2024.11.26 15:40 tbm90 Significantly worse performance on Windows Store vs Steam (DX11 vs DX12)
So, after much searching through here and the DTG forums for a potential solution to my issue, I am utterly stumped. First off, my pc is as follows:
Ryzen 5600x Amd RX 6750 XT 32 GB DDR4 3200
The issue I’m having is that upon installing the windows store gamepass version of TSW 5 running DX11, I encountered significantly reduced performance compared with TSW4 (which used DX12 until an update earlier this year). We’re talking 6-7 second long freezes with frametime in the 1000s, and fps performance in the teens and 20s no matter my graphics settings and resolution.
Decided to buy and test the steam version using DX12, despite having most of my collection on Xbox and windows store, and found that the freezing was nearly completely eliminated. I could crank the graphics up and performance was very solid and along the lines of previous windows store versions. Easily an extra 30 fps on average over the DX11 version.
This is extremely frustrating. I don’t want to have to rebuy my entire collection on steam. I can’t afford that. I can just play on series x but I built a gaming PC after buying most of my routes and was thrilled to find they were play anywhere. I can’t run the windows store version in DX12, as command line parameters don’t work. There seems to be nothing I can do.

I’m looking for some assistance in finding a high-quality monitor that suits my needs. I work 80% of the time (3D and VFX work) and game about 20% of the time. HDR isn’t as crucial for me, but I do want MiniLED to help combat screen glare (I deal with a lot of sunlight in my workspace). I’ve ruled out OLEDs due to burn-in risk, as I use the monitor heavily for productivity tasks.
My Ideal Monitor:
- Type: MiniLED IPS or high-end IPS with great color accuracy.
- Resolution & Aspect Ratio: 4K (3840x2160), 16:9.
- Refresh Rate: High refresh rate (144Hz or above) for gaming and my work with motion design content.
- Form Factor: Flat (not curved, as I need for 3D workflows).
- Features: KVM switch and multiple USB ports would be highly appreciated.
- Budget: Under 4000 PLN (~€900). but open to slightly bigger budget if something has good value currently
- Philips Evnia 3M2N6800M – From what i found having coil whine and lack of more info
- LG 27GR95UM-B – Also new, but again, I couldn’t find much information or user feedback apart from firmware fixing some HDR and dimming.
Additional Notes:
- I live in Poland, so I need something available in Europe. This excludes brands like Innocn, which don’t distribute here.
- My GPU is an RTX 4090, so I can fully leverage high refresh rates and resolution.

Hello! I don’t know if this kind of post is allowed here, but as the title says I’m currently looking for some card sleeves and a deck box that would match thematically with my Neerdiv deck. I usually buy Ultrapro stuff, but they don’t seem to have anything that really matches that I’m aware of. I really like the magnetic leather boxes because I feel like they’re more secure, which is why I’m looking at the UltraPRO Mana 7 Island Alcove Flip Deck Box Protection Storage, but I don’t know if there are better ones that I’m missing.
