2024.11.26 12:50 Tyrel64 How to schedule Transmission downtime?
Sorry I'm a total noob with all things related to Linux. I need help with scheduling Transmission to turn off at nighttime, on an RT-AC66U running FreshTomato.
I know there is a Scheduler on the webUI, but I can't figure out what to type into the command field to make it stop/start Transmission.
Basically I want to set it up to completely shut down Transmission for every night, so it allows the attached USB HDD to go to sleep, which in turn allows myself to go to sleep. (the HDD is noisy)
I guess I'm looking for something like /tmp/stop_transmission.sh, but I have no idea how to do it. I need the exact command that will work.

I've been a minecraft player for over a decade at this point and while I do love the modern versions and most of the features that have been added recently, part of me yearns for the 2013/14 era of minecraft. I know that the community will never be like that again but there is still older versions of the game that I can play. So I've decided to start a new world in 1.6.4 which is the first version I remember playing. 100% vanilla singleplayer minecraft with no worries about whether a build looks 'good enough' or having an automatic farm for every item in the game. I'm going to go at my own pace in this world. No grinding, just relaxing and having fun :)

Hi everyone. As the title suggests, I was hoping to get some ideas on what components I should go for on the PC build. The price is solely for the PC only and I will be saving up for the peripherals for the future.
The games that I play don't really require a lot from the GPU but that's because I'm currently forced to play on 60fps 1080p. The games I mostly play are OW2, DBD, osu, and RPGs like Baulder Gates 3 & Elden Ring. I was hoping to upgrade to 1440p 144hz-240hz with Low-Mid graphical settings.
My main problem right now is that I'm finding very different answers to what GPU I should go for for the best value and a combo for the Motherboard and CPU to go along with it. I see different recommendations all the time and it is making me indecisive on what I should use for a draft build on pcpartpickers
Any sort of suggestion is greatly appreciated. Cheers!

The title is cheesy as hell, but really it's like she just manifested straight out of my dreams, and I met her 3 weeks ago tomorrow but we've been talking a lot and have been out on somewhat unofficial dates, last night was the third and I told her how I feel because she's been acting like she likes me too, but I didn't really get a response, when we first spoke to eachother it was just basic conversation and the next time she saw me 3 days later she said she missed me, and I presume she asked for my number because someone said she wanted it, so I gave it to her and we message pretty often, and we went to gym together and then breakfast right after which was really fun, she and I had a good time and she said so to me, she asked me to go shopping with her and after that we went to a Mexican place and got burritos, everytime she said she had fun and she's told me a couple times that I'm a kind, soft hearted person and she thinks I'm cute, and last night we went for a walk along the beach and went for dinner, afterwards we rode around and I showed her a place she'd never been to before, when we got back to our cars I told her that I really like her and I didn't really get much of a response, I don't know of she was flustered or too shy to say anything back but was I too fast to say it, or does she just see me as a friend TLDR: I'm really confused about a girl I like because I feel like she likes me back but after saying how I feel I was left without any confirmation that she took in what I said

Ich habe dort im März 2021 ein gebrauchtes MacBook auf Rechnung gekauft, dieses jedoch super schnell storniert.
Die Stornierung ging auch durch, soweit ich das noch weiß. Damit hatte sich die Sache für mich eigentlich erledigt. Heute habe ich einen Brief der Firma im Briefkasten mit einer Forderung über die Summe von 1200€ bekommen, da sie schreiben, es hätte einen technischen Fehler gegeben, die Ware wäre versendet worden und sie wäre auch bei mir zugestellt worden. Jedoch habe ich nie ein MacBook erhalten.
Was habe ich denn jetzt für Möglichkeiten, außer der Forderung zu widersprechen mit der Begründung, dass ich es storniert und nie erhalten habe?
