I'm 22 and got interested in flag football in my university (we don't have regular american football as I am in an asian country). I really enjoyed the sport, but I found my body aching even without the intense physical contact of regular football. I do not come from a sporting background and had been sedentary for most of my life. Playing flag football makes me feel really energized, but it usually leaves me fatigued for the rest of the week.

2024.11.26 13:38 DwemerSteamPunk Car forgot to charge last night
I have the app as a widget on my phone so I saw it said 60% but I thought "it probably just hasn't refreshed" so i checked the app but sure enough it said 60% and last seen 12 hours ago. So the car just overslept and totally forgot to charge.
I love my car but things like this frustrate me extremely. The car shouldn't just forget to charge occasionally. I'm lucky I don't have a big commute so it doesn't impact me, but what about folks that do? They may have to call in to work because their car forgot to charge?

 | We’ve had 3 cats for years and then we lost our oldest girl a few months ago 😢 oddly enough my house just felt empty and unbalanced without her. We decided to start looking for a third again, I wanted an older cat, I found this beautiful girl and met her and fell in love with her, she’s so sweet and loving but my son begged for a kitten! The condition at the shelter we went to was not great and I wasn’t very impressed with the care and I just couldn’t pick one to leave behind when we loved them both! The older cat had a collar on that had rubbed the fur off her neck and she is all scabby, poor girl! She also looks very thin and I worry she might be sick-cancer or feline leukemia. The kitten was in a cage above 2 cats that were sick with I guess cat colds and the kitten is sneezing and sounds congested, I didn’t notice at the shelter or I would have asked for treatment. We brought them home yesterday and they’ll be vetted tomorrow and then we will start a more official introduction process with my other 2 cats, who are very mad at me right now 😕. 2024.11.26 13:38 Lugia150 I am trying THE one-last time after a very bad relapse
I went a full month without alcohol - I was feeling great and was focused, working out again, and didn't have cravings. I was taken down by a single moment in time when I was having a bad day....
I went and picked up whiskey.
Since then I have been absolutely CHUGGING bottles. I run out - I go get more. Probably for 2 weeks now I guess.
Catching myself today.... Stopping again. Hopefully I'll last the rest of my life this time. Or at least get a couple months under my belt.
My insides hurt :(

He’s (25M) about to dump me. I (22F) feel sick to my stomach. We’ve been in an on-again off-again relationship since December last year. We had our first major break-up in August (I dumped him) because of a lengthy period of conflict where we were just fighting too much, stuck in a cycle of hurt and toxicity. We quickly tried again for about a month, but that didn’t work, and we went no contact for about 2 weeks before I decided to break it to greet him on his birthday in late September. Then, in October, we started seeing each other again. It’s been really rocky, but (I believed) we’re committed to working through it and getting out of this rough patch so we can finally gain some stability.
But then last week happened. I was having a really hard time, going through some heavy family problems. I lashed out a few times at him for not being present & supportive enough (yes I know, I was immature and I regret it). I initiated meeting with him twice last week, but something always came up on his side and I was getting really frustrated because we wouldn’t be able to see each other for three weeks if we didn’t meet by then and he knew this. I was going to be out-of-town for a family trip over the weekend, and he was going to leave the country for a work trip for a whole week, and I wouldn’t be free on the week he came back because of prior commitments. So I let out a lot of my disappointment over text for him not trying enough to meet with me especially after I’ve already had such a shitty week, a few hours before he was supposed to board his flight. We ended up having a massive fight over text where he initiated breaking up with me, but then took it back after I begged him not to.
Now he’s in another country, and I haven’t been getting any updates on his end. None whatsoever. He would usually send me little texts throughout the day, just sharing what he’s doing or sending pics of things he thinks I’d like. But there’s only been total silence on his end, until today when he asked me how I was. I kept it light because I didn’t want to ruin his trip, and I was planning to just let out my frustrations once he’s back. But now he’s saying that he doesn’t want to talk about it at all, not even when he gets back, and I really want to let him know how disappointed I am at how he doesn’t even want to talk about this, but I don’t want to ruin his trip. He threatened to block me if I try to initiate a fight while he’s out of town. I just have this sinking feeling in my chest that I’m running on borrowed time. He’s going to break up with me soon. I just know it.
And god, I’m so scared. I don’t know how to handle this. The one person who I thought would never treat me like this, would never leave me anxiously waiting for a response or leave me wondering about his day or what’s going on in his head. I feel like I’ve been abandoned, left trying my hardest to read his mind and anticipate my next move so that I don’t scare him away any further. I love him so much. I don’t know what changed, or why he’s acting this way. I hardly know who he is anymore. My chest feels tight. We had pre-existing dates planned in December for when he’s back, but I don’t know if they’re pushing through anymore. He’s coming back December 2. I don’t know if I’ll be entering the holidays and 2025 with him, or single and heartbroken. After August, I never thought I’d feel this way again.
I hope I’m wrong. Please god. Let me be wrong.
