2024.11.26 13:39 Key-Ideal4385 My aunt wants antique dresser and i dont know what to do.
So. My aunt and cousin came to visit me and my dad few weeks ago and the subject went to my gandma (passed away in 1999) and that she promised the dresser to my aunt. And asked to see the dresser. We then went to see it and my cousin went to closer look becouse it was in the back corner of cluttered barn he confirmed it was the dresser that my aunt talked about then my aunt asked if she could have it and my dad was't so happy about it and went back to the house and my aunt and cousin left I went to talk about what happened to my dad and he told me that this was't the only time this has happened. He proseed to tell me that she have asked 2different times for some antique and both tose times my dad agreed and she didnt even offer money or nothing. the dresser is valued over 1000-1200€ and those 2 other compined 400€
And few days after that visit my cousin send me email about the dresser and he asked if it was possible that they could have it for xmas present for my aunt i ansered i dont know
So what should we do?

I've never had a problem like this before! I'm using a Mars 2 Pro with standard photopolymer resin. I don't remember my exact settings, but they're close to the Chitubox defaults and have been working for me for printing minis for a while now. I've been printing all weekend and have had great results. Then, I left a print running overnight, and when I woke up, I cancelled it and found that it had failed. The following had happened:
- The print ran significantly longer than expected. Originally, it was supposed to be four hours. Four hours after I started it, I checked it, and it said it had four hours left. I went to sleep so it could run overnight, and when I woke up, it said it had been printing for ten hours and had two left (leading me to cancel it).
- There are thin films cutting in and out of the models. It almost looks like some layers had a significant part of the screen cured.
- There are large globs of cured resin. There's a solid fill between a lot of the support structures, and some of the models have large blobs of extra resin cured onto the model. The blobs are smooth, fully cured, and looked as if they were included in the original model, which makes me hopeful that this may be a file corruption issue.
I have a busy week, so I won't be able to do any work with the printer for some time, but I'm hoping to get some ideas of what the problem can be before I go back to tinkering with it.

Pointing at this guy and all the other people talking about how the girl was "rude" and all that. I saw another person make a post about this and I'm quite surprised at the number of people bashing/ make counter arguments with them.

42% of indian girls are sexually abused before 19 (these are the reported numbers, there are probably millions unreported cases out there as well) This is not just limited to girls belonging to poor family backgrounds but also to middle class families. Molestation is VERY VERY common in india and YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO THEIR TRUST! Just because you've seen each other a few times doesn't mean/ imply that you can just approach her out of nowhere. It doesn't even matter if she's an extrovert or introvert. She wasn't being rude, she has probably had experiences like these before. According to this research, girls from middle class family have been victim to stalking more than any other demographic with arts and science students being the most stalked. Would you like me give you a list of recent rapes (of teenagers) as well?
Do you what I was taught at home when I was 11-12? "Whenever a stranger, especially a male, approaches you and you don't know them, don't talk to them." You're worried about your chances with a girl? That girl is worried about her life. I'm surprised at the number of people who try to downplay every single concern raised because we genuinely grew up hearing about everything that happens to girls. And given the fact that she goes to her coaching alone, she's probably 16-18 and preparing for an upcoming exam. As trustworthy as you may be, let me repeat, you are NOT ENTITLED TO HER TRUST. She's allowed to not want to engage in any conversation with you or with anybody else because this concerns her safety. The fact that you approached her with "I saw you a few times, you go to xxx coaching, right?" makes it even more creepy and this is from a girl's perspective. I don't know what environment she or you grew up but according to what I've always been taught by my parents, you were not to be trusted! And most of all, like you mentioned, she's literally preparing for an examination for her future. She doesn't want male friends, she doesn't want a relationship and THAT IS OKAY.
And was she being rude? Yes. But was she supposed to be friendly? No. What would you do if she was friendly? Walk beside her? If she was friendly and then told you never to approach her again, would she be called rude again? Yes. And on top of that, you're in a society, her parents would probably be watching out of their window if she gets to her transportation/ whatever vehicle she uses safely. They'll also probably call her two times/ she will have to call them two times (when she reaches her coaching, when she departs her coaching, if she gets late, "I have xxx doubt sessions, I'm going to be late".) You don't know how strict her parents her (they're probably really really strict given the fact she's preparing for a competitive exam), if they saw you walking with her or talking to her, either, they'll beat the shit out of her or, they'll take her phone and not let her talk to anybody and try to gaslight her thousand more times because of some random body who wanted to find his "right girl".
Do you want to how to approach girls the right way then? Don't. You're a fcking teenager, you don't need a right girl. Or look for girls who hang out with boys. There are plenty of them. That means that they have guy friends they trust, so they'll probably trust you too and that their parents LET THEM hang out with guys. Approach them not random girls in your apartment complex.
