2008 Commander with this driveline is giving me fits.
It feels like its stuck in 4wheel-drive after sitting for long periods of time (over night, during work, etc). It hops and skips when pulling out of the parking spots while turning and torque steers hard back to center. It will do this for a mile or more done the road. I thought it was front diff fluid and changed it. Seemed to me likely because after a little while driving, it stops acting as if stuck in 4WD. The fluid change didnt help.
I understand this full time 4WD drivetrain uses switches / sensors to engage the front, rear, and/or transfer case to control wheel slip. Is my problem one of these switches / sensors or transfer case fluid or mechanical (u joints, cv joints, front diff bushing/mount, etc.)?
Anyone experienced this before?
I can fix it but not sure where to start. I cant have the Jeep down troubleshooting and cant spend the money on a ton of parts to try.

Hello. Tried looking through a few posts, but not sure if I found much information. Also, tried looking on the website for the consulate in Los Angeles, but I am not 100% confident in my understanding; particularly regarding the residence permit.
I am a United States and Mexican citizen working in California. My U.S. based company of 5+ years has a position ready for me in Madrid or Barcelona to work as a civil engineer. However, this transfer is completely on my own volition and not required by the company. Therefore, one of the requirements for transfer is that I would need a visa that they will not be sponsoring financially. If needed, they said they can provide the necessary documents for my visa application. Also, they've stated that this transfer would be the "closure of one contract and the start of a new one."
I am curious in knowing if this is the general premise that allows me to apply for an intra-company transfer visa. Are there any other major requirements that I may be unaware of? If so, then what other visas may I apply for.
Also, how to I apply for a residence permit?
My company did recommend I get an attorney to assist with the visa application. Would it be best to work with an attorney or is the application simple enough to go about it on my own? Are there any cheap attorney groups that can help me with this process? Not sure If I need to spend $2500 for services or not.

Hi All,
Hope everyones day is going well
Im wanting to take advantage of the black friday sales and treat myself to a new monitor. I built my PC last year (4070ti , 7800x3d), and have been gaming comfortably at 1440p on two 27inch monitors throughout 2024.
Now I would like to upgrade to a larger screen on atleast my main monitor. Ive seen some sing the 42inch C4’s praises but Im worried it would be too big, especially with a second monitor on the side.
So I’m looking at 32inch monitors. My choice is either to remain a 1440p gamer but take a hit to the pixel density (which i dont think would be the end of the world), but also miss out on OLED tech and likely proper HDR implementation too.
The alternative is to get a 4K 32’ monitor, take advantage of OLED, HDR and have a great pixel density, but my worry here is my PC is not powerful enough for a 4K 60 minimum. I dont want to go below 60fps and I understand 1440p resolution will look bad if i decide to go back.
What is everyones thoughts, i really appreciate taking the time to read my conundrum :) Have a good week!

2024.11.26 14:46 Bullet4MyEnemy Anyone having issues launching in VR since the patch?
Using a Pimax Crystal Light and it will either crash the game when I try to launch it, or it'll load on my monitor's screen mirror, but not actually through the headset - thought it might just be struggling too much since I turned on raytracing, so turned it all off back to my old settings and no improvement.
Haven't changed anything else, but there was a firmware update for the headset yesterday, prior to that I hadn't tried launching in VR for a couple of weeks, so not sure if anything's happened in the meantime.

AITA for not wanting my husband to listen to asmr that involves ear licking, kisses, whispering your name and all kinds of other things? My husband (23) and I (21) have been together for a few years and almost every night he falls asleep to that kind of asmr. It hasn’t really bothered me until now because I just realized what it was exactly that he listens to. I am not the biggest fan of it in general but he said it helps him fall asleep. One night I saw which streamer he was watching and I went to it to see what kind of ASMR it was and I heard the streamer whisper our last name and I saw that it cost the gems that she had to do it. I don’t know if he paid for them or not but just knowing that another girl is whispering our name to him as he falls asleep just doesn’t feel right. He likes it when I whispekiss his ears during “you know what” and so I asked him if it makes him “happy” when he listens to it and he said sometimes but not all the time and that when it does he will initiate “happy time” with me. So am I the asshole for still feeling a little uneasy knowing that he listens to that? (He only listens to it to fall asleep)

 | I tried to install apple carplay on my 2017 Elantra, I got the DAUDIO software update from the Hyundai forum. After some minutes of updating, it showed that the update was unsuccessful, after that the screen froze and displayed "contact your customer service centre", the reverse camera isn't working anymore, and I can't connect my phone to the bluetooth because nothing else besides that message is showing on the screen. I can still hear the radio though. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a possibility that the problem may be something more serious? i turned on system yesterday. i was looking at wrong notes.
i set pH to 6.8 not 5.8 !? i noticed some slight red streaking on leaves and a bit of red on stems on 3/4 plants. it has been about 16 hours. best plant is at 5 th node.
pH is now corrected to 5.8. should i just let the kids ride it out?
plants are 19 days old. in coco coir 70% perlite 30% , soft pots. temp 76%. VPD 80

And I literally can’t do anything about it like if I could think of something I probably would do it but you know when you kinda just like give up and say to yourself this shit isn’t worth my mental health deteriorating anymore. That’s pretty much what it was, but every now and then I wake up in just a fucking rage and think to myself if any of this shit happened to a sitting politician, they would be Helped by the police. They would be helped by society, but since it’s me, I don’t get anything I get told that I should go to therapy and that I should just learn to accept the fact that it happened.
