 | I keep getting these emails from people/bots asking me to be on podcasts- huge podcasts. The most recent one was for the Lewis Howes School of Greatness podcast. They offered $3,000 for the segment and wrote out lots of thoughtful personal questions to ask me about my life. Then they asked me to join a zoom where they would “address all questions and provide a live presentation.” This felt totally off from the first email, but I was curious what the scam was so I did some digging and finally found someone who made a video about the same exact scam. I never got on the zoom, but apparently the scammers ask to share your screen and then they steal your Facebook/Instagram account while they have access. Myself (45f) and my husband (46m) have been married for 15 years.
I'm not sure where to start and hopefully this will all make sense to someone.
I love my husband, but I am deeply unhappy with my situation.
I am have physical issues as well as mental health issues, and my husband is my carer. However, he works more or less full time and simply isn't here enough to help me. When he is here he has no time because he does most of the housework. I am left alone for 3-5 days per week, plus we never know which days and this can change at a moments notice. Literally he sometimes gets a call at 6pm or so saying that do/do not need him the next day.
This all makes me feel like I don't know what I'm doing. I never know how much help I will have and I worry that he's not able to keep up with the house work as well as caring for me. As a result, I'm struggling mentally and physically. I'm walking the dog even though it leaves me in substantial pain during and after. But essentially, I'm lonely and sick of living like this. I'm self neglecting, and not showering etc, which is affecting my sex drive aswell. I feel dirty and just embarrassed and so I pretend not to notice when he makes hints about sex. If we're in bed and he tries to touch me I pretend to be asleep. I feel so guilty about the sex, or lack thereof, and it hurts to even think this, but I'm wondering whether I should just let him go. He could find someone so much better than me. I feel like I'm holding him back, and making myself unhappy in the process. If I'm going to be alone all the time, what is the point in even staying. I don't want to leave, but at the same time, I'm deeply unhappy in this situation.
I've talked to him about work before and we agreed to him doing 3 days per week. However, they keep dropping days randomly and asking him to do different days so I never know what days he will be here. I want him to stop completely, but we need the money too much.

Our family is very much not into social media, we’re private and don’t feel like other people need to know our business. My SIL is much more open and doesn’t see any issue with sharing her life online. I understand, it’s her life to share. Few years ago one of their kids was seriously sick and she shared a lot of their journey with followers online and got lots of support in return which was invaluable. Now years later, she overshares thinking ppl need to know what’s going on with them. This means daily blog posts to a public forum (most of which are local people, but many “outside lurkers” as well). She shares sleep habits, bathroom habits, tantrums, and anything else she can think of about her kids. They have no privacy. She shares pictures of the kids sleeping, sick, and even sometimes of them in the bath (she’ll put a sticker over what she can’t show). It’s become really difficult for the rest of our family to watch her constantly posting the most intimate details about her kids and giving these followers so much access to their personal lives. We’ve mentioned to her that maybe now that they’re back to good health and not on this journey anymore, she can start to scale back how much she posts but she seems uninterested in changing it. She thinks she has a duty to share their situation now as “life after recovery”. Her husband doesn't like the over sharing but doesn't want to rock the boat. Anyways, I’ve started to keep an eye out for any posts that border on inappropriate (ie pics of the kids in bed etc) and flag these to FB in an attempt to get her page removed. AITA?
