We’re a couple with two kids, doing good financially, and planning to move to the US in five years. My one of main concern is about my parents well being, who will be moving with us.
They’re not very fluent in English—they can understand well but can only speak somewhat. We’re considering settling in California and are curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences with Indian parents.
What were the major issues your parents faced (other than finances), and what should we prepare for to make their transition easier? Any advice would be appreciated!
Also, are there any Indian communities, groups, or networks in California where parents like ours can meet with others, interact and feel connected? Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Current other RBs and WRs are Josh Jacobs, Monty, ARSB, Kupp and a dumpster fire of a bench that isn’t worth mentioning.

Hi everyone, I have a weird issue with AliExpress. I bought an electric bike, which apparently was a scam and I never got it. AliExpress didn't want to return my money at first, but then somehow I managed to get a 150€ coupon back. Recently, I redeemed the coupon for another item. The item was 152.99€, so I had to pay an extra 2.99€ for the item and I didn't get it again (seems to be happening on AliExpress quite often).
My issue is that now AliExpress won't return my coupon. AliExpress agents are completely useless anyways and it seems that it's just dumb AI. When my ticket reaches the AliExpress support team, the actual people, keep mentioning the 2.99€ and that they have returned it to me already and the process can take 3-30 days. I have made it more than clear that the issue is about a 150€ coupon, not 2.99€. They keep ignoring the coupon, spinning off the conversation or just ignoring facts, it's so frustrating to work with them when they're literally making fun of you. At this point, it's not just bad Chinese-English, but it's purposely bad English so they can use it against you.
150€ is not so little money for a mortal and I'm not sure anymore what to do to get it back. They also keep sending me random shit that I can not get the coupon back if it was a promotional coupon and so on, but my coupon doesn't relate to anything on that list that they're sending me. After I tell them that the coupon (or 150€) is not on that list and that I don't apply to any of those conditions, they just start to talk about those 2.99€ and that they will refund it to me. I'm so frustrated at this point when they are mocking me and I can't do anything about it and they like it.
Can I? Can I do something about it? Bank doesn't even wanna hear about AliExpress and they won't be putting in any refund or anything for me. So between that, it's just AliExpress and me. Does it make sense to sue them, will I get anything from that or will they just mock the lawsuit as they're mocking my support tickets? Can you even sue AliExpress and actually gain something from them or do they stall lawsuits indefinitely?

Even worse because there seems to be an insistence from Tony himself that he have his hands in everything. Totally fine. But you have to actually put your hands in it. Why are communications consistently broken between the owner and talent? If it is a lack of courage or confrontation avoidance, why are there no intermediaries in place to have the hard conversations for Tony? Booking decisions, talent acquisitions, clumsy P.R. aside - being in communication with your employees in some form is Intro to Business 101. Any business of any kind. Hi! I have been on here for a few times now and have made quite a lot of posts recently my ex suffered with BPD and dismissive avoidance tendencies and today well she blocked me Today and I just need some advice this started a few weeks ago, I shared with her that I was not feeling good mentally, I expressed that I had some suicidal thoughts and she calmed me down, but after that she was distant again, not talking to me all day, she even said “I know I should be talking with you right now, but I just think about all the disagreements we have had, and I just loose motivation to try” she also confessed to me she planed to not see 2025 she said she was going to do it on the 30th of December after a few days of asking her what was wrong she said she needed a break from me and that she was tired of constantly worrying it i was upset.
I was apologetic and said I understood, I still sent her good morning and goodnight texts sometimes more and she would get angry till Saturday, I said goodnight, then I said somthing along the lines of I want you to know I still care about you, and she blew up at me saying
i can’t keep doing this
a break is not one sided
i’ve stopped texting you, can you not stop texting me? have some dignity for yourself? focus on yourself?
talking it out leads us in circles there is no point
I then left her alone for about 9 days till today, I decided to text her asking her if she was willing to talk it out now, she responded with a short nope, then I asked her would she ever want too, and she said she didn’t know if she would ever want to again, so she couldn’t answer that.
I then said can I ask why, and that I always tried my hardest for her and I promised to not give up on her, but to a certain point there is only so much I can do alone, she then said this
“I know you did try your best, and honestly, i’m grateful for it. I just don’t think we’ll get any futher in our relationship then it already was. I’m politely asking you to let go of me. There’s no point in feeding a flame that’s already out.”
Keep in mind she had said she loved me only a few weeks ago, and she had used the same flame was already out, and I have proved that wrong before, I asked what I had done and she said this
“I have no interest in doing anything with you, you didn’t do anything wrong, i just think there’s a better match for both of us out there. I don’t want a relationship, not when i’m studying. So trying to talk to me now is pointless and futureless. All i’m saying is stop trying with me because we’ll get nowhere.”
Again seemingly to me contradicting everything she had said before, then I asked why have you not just gotten rid of me, she then said
Fine want me to get rid of you Done.
I have since been removed/blocked on instagram and snap chat, not yet Tik tok or my number, she has done this once in the past before hand, she had said terrible things to me, and told me to never talk to her again, a week latter she came back and apologised till now, I just want to ask is this normal for Somone with BpD and dismissive avoidance, I want to know if she will come Back again, or if she’s really gone for good.

 | Hello everyone After a short circuit My gpu had stopped working. So I've bought another Gpu along with motherboard as it got faulty too. And I've replaced everything except my psu. As I've got it checked in the official service centre and it was working great. Then i plug my newer motherboard and gpu un my older psu and it worked great but only for like two hours. After that my system suddenly showed me blurred video as in the photos. I've changed my psu and it still doesn't show me the same. I've tried both windows and Linux so this isn't any driver issue and its the same in bios too. The images are displayed what they are in the previous frame. Check images I've restarted and my desktop is showing in restart screen. Please tell me if my gpu has gone bad or there's something else.
