 | I'm at a masters program at NYU and am travelling away from NYC for a month starting Dec 15, so subletting my spacious and furnished room in my 2-bedroom apartment. My housemate (he/him) is a post-doc teaching at Columbia University, and is super nice and helpful if I can say so myself. I've worked in retail, accounting, and construction, and I've NEVER encountered so many disagreeable pedants as I have on this field.
Every team has at least one engineer that I started classifying as "nerd-bullies". Basically a nerd that found their niche in this highly technical industry and let their achievements lead to entitlement and condescension.
The worst is when you're in a meeting and the nerd happens to be a higher up manageteam lead, so you're stuck listening to them go on and on about sorting algorithms when none of it is relevant to our current work.
Been at 3 different tech companies and they all have this problem. Anyone else burnt out from these types of people?

Hi, I’m currently on my 2nd pen of 2.5mg and approaching borderline overweight / obese category. Have ordered off medxpress to date - was wondering if I will be able to move up to 5mg even though I technically will be ‘overweight’ category by the time I need to order a third pen? Only reason for staying on 2.5mg was that I was anxious about side effects but find that suppression and food noise are really creeping back in hence the need to move to 5mg.
Any advice or experience really appreciated!
