I'm looking to get a rtx 5090 when it launches next year.
The leaks a year ago and this week show quad slot reference with compatible length to the 4090 reference.
Anyone running a quad slot GPU in the Dan a3?
Is says it's compatible with 4 slots and 415mm max with a smaller psu. But idk if it'll work.
Anyone running a 4 slot card and a full ATX PSU?

2024.11.26 17:30 EhMeeeee What if I can't get bank draft in time?

I am meeting with my lawyer tomorrow and my house is supposed to close on Thursday, but my bank draft for the down payment is still not available.
I didn't get my total until Friday afternoon and I called my bank immediately after getting the total. But since I use Simplii, they said it could take three days because they use CIBC. I asked them to rush it, but then I got a message yesterday because they needed to confirm details and I'm worried that will delay it more.
What will happen if I don't have the draft before I meet the lawyer or before the house closes? I'm not sure what my options are other than waiting for the draft to be available.

2024.11.26 17:30 TehGadfly Shield Plus options

Sorry for the (relatively) lengthy post for a pretty simple question, but:
I'm looking for my first EDC, and I'm hoping to get more into shooting as a hobby once I can afford to. For the moment, I'm just trying to get as much value out of my first purchase as possible. After weeks of watching video reviews and reading reviews and Reddit discussions, I've finally settled on the Shield Plus. I had initially been eyeing the Taurus g3c due to a very limited budget, but I've got a bit more to spend now.
I know the reaction it tends to get, but I DO want a manual safety. I'll most likely carry with the safety disengaged, but I intend to use it to teach my wife and my sister's children the basics. They'll be taught to keep away from the trigger until they're ready to shoot, of course, and they'll initially handle it unloaded. But even if the safety only mitigates the risk slightly, I'd rather avoid a momentary lapse turning into a tragedy.
As money is still relatively tight, I planned to just get a bare-bones Shield Plus until I realized that I'd probably end up spending twice as much upgrading and such. Now, I'm having a hard time deciding between the Carry Comp and the Red Dot bundle I've seen on several sites.
I've considering the Carry Comp because I'm in Illinois; for the moment, we still can't get pistols with threaded barrels, so if I won't have the option of adding a compensator later, if I decide I'd like to. While that restriction is probably on the way out once the case reaches SCOTUS, that will take some time.
The Red Dot Bundle simply seems to be the best value for the money, with the mags, it being OR, and coming with the tritium night sights, even if the CT dot isn't terribly well regarded. I can always get a better dot and send it into the PC for upgrades later, if I want.
I just want to see if one option is clearly better than the other, or if I should be looking at something else entirely.

I’m 28yo I started balding since about 23yo but it has gotten much worser in the past 3 years. I have never hopped on any minoxidil or finasteride. I feel like I’m way past the point of any medication helping out. If eligible for HT about how many would I need? Or am I at the point of no return?

Hey guys, so I just had composite fillings for my gaps post braces and I feel like the color of the composites are whiter, when I asked the doctor about that he told me something along the lines of I made them whiter because it resembles like the tooth enamel and stuff like that, I don’t know what he was saying to be honest. And also, my left canines are way bigger. I told the doc about that and he said my gums need to rest for now and I had to come back after two weeks then we can adjust the size of it. He said my other canine the (right one) is 7 mm while the big one (the left one) is 7.5 and he said that’s not a big difference. But is it not? The colors he used I heard him saying was A1 and A3.

As the title somewhat states, I am trying to find some Games that have a long time playing potential, but aren't text based or os-rpgs (already have some).
I am thinking something like Fallout Shelter was, or Clash of Clans (doesn't have to be that Gameplay, but from how much and when you can play it)
In a perfect world, a game without timegated progress like CoC, or extreme walls where you need to pay like in many AFK Games, I just want to make progress and keep advancing.
