So a bit of context. About 4 months ago I opted for an education plan for my kid but after some careful consideration, I can see that the accumulated amount payable after let's say 18 years is about 15% less than if I just chose to save it myself in a bank account. And that is excluding any interests a bank account would offer. I decided to just not contribute to the premium because I had no time to go to their head office to cancel the policy because it requires my signature. (And a ton of other procedures)
Fast forward to today and I received a letter saying I owe X amount of money to them. The way it was phrased sounded like I didn't pay for a loan instead of sounding like I didn't contribute to this voluntary plan I chose, if that makes sense.
So I'm wondering, can they take legal actions against me like debt collections agencies and such to force me to pay for those months I didn't pay?

At 3 am I don't know what to say , my best time of this year was with my friend , it was all so special sharing stuff listening. And i don't know why i did . I lost my true friendship probably the trust . I had everything with me and i just fumbled it , love is far fetched , even lost my trustable friendship. And when the realization hits it is unmatched the pain , but i have done wrong and i deserve this pain . Maybe i could change in past and never did some actions i did and shoulda been straight . Im a very stupid person , my actions doesn't replicate my feelings properly and my heart doesn't helps my actions. I just keep doing stupid things even if i don't want to . And yes im stupid an idiot a liar but i don't know more but this friendship the person the friend means so much to me my actions were wrong i don't deserve forgiveness. But really i really value this friendship. Guys please don't be like me , no matter how much value you do , please refrain from doing stupid things and lying like me . Please . And now just it feels empty. Please don't be like me . And value the people you do with actions that also match them correctly please . I am just a no one who felt only one with my friend , idk why i did that stupid things and all but now i only have regret and apologies and an unforgivable act . So i beg you don't be like me . And i have done wrong so anyone don't you dare write any shit for my bestfriend, the friend the best i ever found . I did wrong and now i have regrets , and i have them because my friend was really special the trust the connection. So please don't say anything even a word against my bestfriend. And yes value your friends please . I hope you meet a bestfriend as great as mine , you just be responsible to not do the same mistakes and acts i did , my bestfriend is really special and everyone should have a friend like that in their life . I've been learning a lot about Norse Paganism the past few months. I've read the Neil Gaiman book, Asatru for beginners, and am working through the Edda's now, among other things. I tried joining some social media groups and have found them to be less insightful than I hoped (lots of AI art that's historically inaccurate, silly stuff like Thor kitty pictures, and lots of confusion about what's historical and what's Marvel or other entertainment). I also find a lot of online blogs are fictional reimagining's from the authors.
I appreciate all the creativity and I'm not here to tell anyone they're "doing it wrong." But I'm looking for more historically accurate information. Does anyone have some good recommendations?
