This team isn’t going to win it all, which is what I want. We can’t tank because we don’t own our picks. Best move is looking like slashing the roster so we can overpay in free agency next year. Sounds great right? Wrong.
Assuming we don’t re-sign any of our pending free agents we could open up 100m worth of cap space by moving Bogi, Hunter and OO. At this point there’s no way Vit, Djurisic and Gueye could be exponentially worse than them. The problem is I can’t think of a single way to move any of those guys because their contracts are so terrible. No team would take any one of them on for a second round pick.
The game becomes how can we trade our crappy players for other teams crappy players that are on expiring contracts. I’m no NBA nerd but I can’t make anything work.
Would the Nets take OO for Ben Simmons? Would the Jazz take Hunter for John Collins? Is there any realistic trade that sends Bogi to go be friends with Joker? Would the Spurs even trade us our pick back for Trae Young?
It’s frustrating not feeling like there’s any way out of mediocrity despite the fact that we have what should be a super exciting young core for the first time in forever. There’s gotta be a superstar that would be down to play with JJ, DD and ZR for the right price. Perfect fit would be to overpay Miles Turner to replace CC. Not sure about committing too much money outside of him so we can be flexible in 2026 and 2027z

Let me start by explaining I’m normally a very introverted guy so I never really talk to other people than clients and colleagues.
So yeah I noticed this girl and had some chat with her and for the first time I felt she really cared or atleast she is so different than any other Dutch girl who never seem to care and are only online for the attention.
So we chatted as you can see by the photos below. It started out great and then I guess I turned out to be socially awkward. I tried real hard and bet that’s what made me overthink and still send something stupid.
Its now 3 days ago but I can’t forget her even though we had a short chat but she is diffrent then all other girls. Let’s say I enjoyed the chat as she seemed to care and be genuine which I’ve never seen/had before.
Can I save it by saying something like “im sorry if im a bit social awkward but I’ve never met a girl especial as you. That’s is beautiful, caring and smart”
I mean there are other girls but she is really cute. Also I’m not really anybody’s type I guess so I never match with anyone. Photo for reference haha

I (23F) am going on a date with a friend of a friend(35M) (they know eachother from work). We are going for dinner and a movie. He suggested 9pm at first and I said no as I don’t want to get home too late once you factor in the movie.
I then suggested 8pm and we agreed, later on I realised even if we eat at 8pm if we’re done by 9 the movie will be 2 hours and probably won’t finish until 11/12pm. I started to panic as I feel this is a little late to be out with a stranger. I then wondered if I should push for dinner at 7pm
The next day I text him and say just to confirm what time is the movie so I can have an idea of what time I’ll be home and he says the movie is at 9:30 and I’ll be back home by midnight (more like 12:30). Am I overreacting and freaking out too much ?? The only saving grace is that he’s my friend’s friend so that puts me somewhat at ease, but now I’m worked up thinking of what-ifs?
It’s a bit late to change the time as he’s booked the movie already
PS: he’s picking me up (from my station) and dropping me home (to my station)
