 | My lower left wisdom teeth #17 has a cavity which looks ugly. My dentist suggest to extract it. I asked my dentist if it is possible to instead do the filling, but dentist won't budge. I don't have any pain or any problem whatsoever in this tooth.So I definitely don't want to extract my wisdom teeth f it can be filled with composite filling. Hello commanders o7, first post hehehe, I plan to buy the Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus X - Xbox Series X/S, and I would like to know if it works on the Elite Dangerous console edition and other games (Star Wars Squadrons/Ace Combat Games/War Thunder, etc). I have an XBOX Series X, and I can only choose between this one that comes with the sidestick and the quadron, just the stick and the T Flight Hotas One. The Airbus Pack is in first place only because of the hall effect (I know that the Z axis does not have a magnetic sensor, if anyone has a solution to use another control command as the Z axis, I would appreciate it). Now to summarize: 1- does it work or not in other games on the console? 2024.11.26 23:30 stellahella1 Low beam fault - dead battery
Before reading of the 'dreaded low beam fault' I went to replace the bulb thinking that was the problem. I'm not the most adept at working on cars but a dude on YouTube had a bulb installed in 5 minutes. So I figured I'd save some money. After taking the high beam bulb out first by mistake I finally got things all sorted and installed and the low beam still didn't work. The high beam now wasn't working as well. I let it sit overnight and this morning went to start my car and it wouldnt start. Why would replacing the bulb cause my battery to die? I am thinking I may have upset the wiring as I was trying to install the bulb? Or something to do with the high beam now? Worried that battery will keep dying on me.

My fiancee (25F) and I (27F) recently decided to get married. However, I am struggling to decide whether or not I’m an asshole for not inviting my father.
For context, I grew up in a small town in Texas and literally did not meet an “out” gay person until I left the state to go to college at 18. As a result, I never really thought to question my sexuality or my disinterest in the men I was dating (especially because of that old school stereotype that women dread having sex with their husbands). I eventually came out when I was 23, which was pretty unexpected for my parents as I dated a lot of men before coming out (mostly because every time I would question my sexuality, my mom would just tell me I hadn’t met “the right one” yet). My mom took it pretty badly but eventually got over it, and my dad really didn’t care either way (he is not an emotional at all and has never really shown much interest in me throughout my childhood, but he did provide for me and made sure I could go to college).
However, my dad is a right wing conservative and has voted for Trump in every election he has run in. Every time I have brought up that (1) his wife’s family immigrated from Mexico, (2) he only has daughters, and (3) I am gay as reasons why he shouldn’t vote that way, he dismisses it and says he votes the way he does because a small business owner. I have also brought up that I might lose the right to marry when Trump takes office next year, but my dad always laughs it off and says he’s doing me a favor because being married isn’t all that great anyway (which is kind of insane to say because my parents are still married). He attributes our differences in opinion to me being “brainwashed by my liberal education” despite him pushing me to go to college my entire childhood, so he dismisses anything I say by default.
Despite this, I do love my dad. I try bringing this up with my mom, but we have agreed as a family to avoid talking about religion or politics because it always starts fights (my mom is a Catholic democrat, whereas my dad is an atheist republican. And yes, I am dead serious). I have also thrown out the idea of me trying to have a heart-to-heart with my dad because I have always wanted us to have a more fulfilling relationship, but my mom has advised against this.
However, now that I’m thinking about my wedding, I don’t know if I want my dad there no matter how much I love him otherwise. It really hurts me that he is so dismissive of my right to get married, and if he doesn’t care if I have the right to marry, then I don’t see why I should have him at my wedding at all. I’ve brought this up with my mom, but she refuses to come to the wedding if my dad isn’t invited as “I should know he loves me and would do anything for me.” She also thinks it is selfish of me to not invite my dad as she thinks he is a great father despite his politics. For context, both of my parents came from extremely abusive homes and grew up incredibly poor—like my dad was 12 years old, living alone and taking care of himself, and had to hunt squirrels to eat level of poor—so my parents being able to provide for me and send me to college is the epitome of good parenting in their eyes even if they haven’t been great to me emotionally. My sister sees my point of view and thinks I should do what is best for me. The rest of my family is split - some of them agree with me, and some of them think I am being overdramatic. However, this might be because my parents have really pushed the “we are a perfect family” image to the rest of my relatives, so I don’t think they see the full picture.
I am really close with my mom and can’t imagine getting married without her there, but I also don’t feel like my dad deserves to see me get married if he doesn’t even think I should have the right to do so anyway. I also feel guilty excluding my dad because I know he is the way he is because he went through a lot as a kid, but I also don’t think he should be there if he cares so little about my rights and happiness. AITA?

I don't know if this fits here, or in some mental health sub because I don't have anything diagnosed related to productivity. However, I have had this issue for the last 12 years where whenever there's something I have to do, that's mildly troubling, or has some mild pressure related to it, I just can't do it. I procrastinate, and I'm so good at it that I can start another activity without being aware I'm doing it, or convince myself something else can be much more productive in the long run (like writing this post instead of studying for an exam).
It's not even like just doing stuff for fun. Since I'm too stressed due to incoming calamity of not passing the exam or not satisfying duties at work, I couldn't enjoy any other activity, and I would feel guilty to do inconsequential stuff. What's more, many of my activities besides scrolling social networks boil down to programming projects that are considered too hard for a single person, or researching projects that are way over my head while straining my brain to the point of near-physical pain. So it's not like I go the easy route, in terms of task difficulty. In fact, many of the topics at work and college would be really fun and useful to me were it not for this disgust and panic when studying, or trying to follow lectures.
Logically, it doesn't seem I could gain anything from avoiding duties. Maybe I could on some long-term ideological level, but I already missed so many chances and ruined so many experiences that my life has become completely miserable. I also knew in advance this would happen since it was obvious, to the point I often try to accept self-destruction as an excuse for not doing my duties.
I'm avoidant emotionally.
How do I break this cycle?

Much to my horror, they found a dent in the back. I didn't see anything when I cracked it. But looking back at my photos I do see the dent now even in the BGS slab. But here are the photos.
