2024.11.27 00:21 joebonama Reverb wants my SIN (tax #) ... uh no.
Today I got an email saying I have to "verify". It's been 3 years and 200 all positive sales. They said they want ID. That's odd but when I started filling out their form it wants my SIN. Which in Canada is our social security #. No one is supposed to even ask unless they are employing you and paying you via payroll. It's in fact illegal to require it even on credit checks.
Guess this is good bye to Reverb. I'm not uploading my drivers license, passport and SIN so you can steal my identity and rob my blind then say " oops data breach". They already have bank info to pay me. With my I'd and sin it would be all they need to get into Rev canada or my bank.
Their is no reason my government would require this as they already know all that as they issue it. Reverb wants everything required to perform ID theft. INSANE

How difficult is it to find TOB teams with 0 experience on leagues?
This will be my first league and I really want to dip my toes into TOB but I'm worried that I won't be able to find teams and end up wasting my region/picks.
My ideal route for TOB is FTM with 6-3-1.
My backup is FAD with a range build if finding teams isn't really possible but I need to know beforehand so I don't waste my picks.
Any advice is appreciated!

Last Tuesday, I had a delicious double bacon cheese burger with a grilled cheese sidecar and a coke. As usual, excellent burger all around. Their food is hands down consistently delicious. The surprise came a week later when I saw that I had mistakenly been charged $113. As a man of color, situations like this can be especially tricky. To complicate things further, I had no receipt - just my bank statement. Long story short, I got my money back and received absolutely no hassel, attitude, or guff from the owner. Nothing. He saw an overcharge had happened, and he took care of it. I offer my sincerest thanks. I assumed I was out of luck, but as the title said - he was a stand up guy.

Hey! Just wondering if someone/few of you could help me complete the terminus EE? I wouldn't say I fully know all the steps, but I have tagged along on the steps on previous attempts so I have a bit of an idea of what needs to happen. Keep getting to the last phase of the boss and getting killed.
Any advice also would be GREATLY appreciated, always found taking a chopper gun in with me quite useful. Gone into the boss fight with these gobblegums before and theyve been quite useful: Idle eyes/near death experience/Pheonix up - any others that are useful? Usually have a wonder weapon too, Usually the ray gun with 3 PAP but happily take some recommendations.

Three years ago, when I (F26), was 23, I used to work at this small gym with two coworkers, Matt (M26) and Kelsey (F17). After work, I would go stairs , workout with them, and we would talk about relationships. Kelsey and I had swapped some NSFW stories one day. However, I was unsure whether Kelsey was either 19 or younger after we talked about these stories. Afterwards, I double checked with her and she said that she was fine. Even though she said that she wasn't uncomfortable, I still feel so guilty and feel like a monster. I have been trying to cope for three years but i just don't know how to stop it. I told my friend(F26) about this a year ago and have been trying to keep things light. But, sometimes, I get into loops where i constantly reassurance seeked to make sure that i wasn't a bad person. I think that she hates me and isn't talking to me anymore even though she said we are solid She hasn't really messaged me since after I texted her. I feel like I am a predator and i don't want to bring her down anymore.

Vorab : ich bin super dankbar für jeden der sich die Zeit nimmt seine Meinung abzugeben!
Ich habe mich dazu entschieden angewandte künstliche Intelligenz im Bachelor zu studieren, weil ich im Bereich KI - Optimierung / NLP & RAG arbeiten möchte und 90% aller Module inkl. Kursinhalte sehr relevant für die geforderten Kenntnisse von Unternehmen in diesem Bereich sind.
Ich stehe jetzt vor der Entscheidung ob ich auf englisch oder deutsch studieren sollte.
Habe mir bereits sehr viel über Python mit Youtube / Internet beigebracht was ausschließlich auf englischsprachigen Quellen basiert hat und bin allgemein jemand der fast ausschließlich Dinge auf englisch macht (Serien/Filme schauen, social media, irgendetwas recherchieren was man nicht weiß). Möchte damit nur sagen, dass ich ziemlich vertraut bin mit der englischen Sprache und immer versuche nebenbei meine Sprachkenntnisse zu erweitern.
Meine Überlegung ist dass es zwar etwas anstrengender sein wird komplexe Themengebiete auswendig zu lernen, Hausarbeiten oder die Bachelorarbeit zu schreiben und Präsentationen zu halten (bin als deutscher natürlich deutlich wortgewandter auf deutsch), aber es für die fachliche Kompetenz eher sinnvoller sein könnte, weil man auf englisch deutlich mehr Literatur oder content zu allen Themen findet und nicht ständig die deutschen und englischen Begriffe im Kopf hin- und herübersetzen muss.
Könnte mir auch vorstellen für / mit internationale Unternehmen zu arbeiten, wenn sich irgendwann die Möglichkeit bieten sollte.
Wie ist da so eure Meinung, oder vielleicht sogar Erfahrung zu? Mache ich mir das Studium damit viel viel schwerer und sind die Verbesserungen der Sprachkenntnisse vielleicht weniger als ich mir "erhoffe" ?
Die Analysis & Algebra Module kann ich mir zum Glück aus dem vorherigen Studium anrechnen lassen :D lediglich Statistik nicht, aber all zu große Sorgen mache ich mir da nicht.
