And yes I’ve googled a bunch but get so much conflicting information… I always see posts of people who aren’t losing weight but claim to be in a deficit, followed by comments from others saying they should eat more. I know that metabolism can slow from eating less but I’m pretty sure there’s no exception to the science behind the fact that if you eat less than you burn you’ll lose weight.
Like, if eating too little prohibits weight loss then why do the survivalists on naked and afraid lose like 30lbs from not eating for 3 weeks? (I know this is extreme just and example).
Is not eating enough really a blocker for losing weight and if so, how? The math isn’t mathing for me.
Genuinely curious and confused… any insight?

I see posts all the time about how tragic it is that a PC died, and it got me thinking about how I play. I’m fairly new to dnd, this is my first campaign and I’ve played a few one off sessions. I find that while I’m playing, I don’t really care about the consequences of making critical decisions. I always think, well this will either be really cool… or I’ll die and start again, no big deal. Of course I understand the feeling of loving your current character and all the work you’ve put into them, but I am also always excited about new possibilities and the chance to make an even better character. So I’m curious, am I in the minority or the majority in thinking that PC deaths are no big deal?

First of all, idk if this is the right subreddit for this and I’m really sorry if I’m breaking a rule by posting this!!
For some context, I’ve been in AN recovery for a couple of months now but throughout all the process I’ve been struggling with binge episodes (It’s not EH, trust me I’ve talked to my therapist and dietitian about it I swear I’m not in denial!). Recently they’ve been more and more frequent, I’ve noticed I have started to enjoy binging bc it feels like my ED rests for a couple of hours and it’s the only time I don’t have to worry about food or calories.
Anyway, I binged today quite a lot of carbs and I did some stuff afterwards I’m not really proud of to try and compensate :p However, even though it’s been only 2 hours, I’m already starting to feel hungry again! I don’t really want to ignore my hunger bc that could make me fall into the binge-restrict cycle again but I’m also not sure if it’s okay to eat something again. I’d really appreciate if someone could guide me with this little situation and give me some advice ❤️
