Creo que la situación es bastante sencilla; el amor que uno da no conoce de estigmas como la especie, el género, etc
Si tú amas a una criatura ya está
Y siempre ponen situaciones muy particulares como “si una casa se incendia y está mi hijo y tu mascota; a quien salvas”
Dejando de lado lo absurdo de la premisa para orillar a una respuesta que evidentemente no te va a gustar
La respuesta es evidente: Obviamente voy a salvar a mi mascota sobre tu papá, tu mamá, tu hijo, tu tío; o quien sea.
No sé porque se ofenden con algo tan evidente; yo tengo una conexión afectiva con este ser; ¿porque salvaría a alguien por quién no tengo el mínimo interés si me veo forzado a elegir?
Molestarse por ello es tan absurdo como que nosotros nos molestemos porque ustedes salvarían a su hijo, hija, etc en vez de a mi mascota; ustedes tienen un lazo afectivo con sus seres queridos, es evidente que van a priorizarlos
Por otro lado hay personas que se ofenden por la manera en la que uno demuestra su afecto por una mascota; y uso ese término porque es más general, porque para nosotros significan más que eso; para nosotros son nuestros familiares, y hay una conexión de madre/padre- hijo o una relación de hermanos
Creo que es nuestro derecho llamarlos como nosotros deseemos; no es nada contra las personas que tienen hijos, no se porque se ven aludidas con ese tema
Si quieres tener hijos perfecto; es tu decisión; ergo no tiene sentido que te molestes porque alguien llama hijo a su perro o tiene ciertas deferencias con el; esta persona está demostrando su amor a un ser querido, no despreciando a tu hijo, no es nada contra tu familia, en realidad; no es nada relacionado a ti.

At first, I was being formal and called him “mister,” but then he explicitly asked me in a chat, “How long are you going to keep calling me mister?” After that, we became more informal with each other. He also shared something very personal about his life with his wife, and now he’s very close with me, but not with the other interns. Recently, I finished my internship, and he said something like, “If you ever want lessons about something, you’re always welcome.” (He’s a teacher) When I mentioned that I had lessons at school, he replied, “That was just an excuse to see you.” Sometimes he says things that make me unsure if it’s just friendly or something more.

I used to enjoy Spotify playlists as a way of discovering new music and just getting away from my own heavy rotation. But now everything is “made for you” which has resulted in all playlists feeling too familiar. Why bother?
The joy of exploring Spotify has been absent for some time, I suspect because of this. Recently I’ve found joy again by playing old albums in full, and realizing how much I miss hearing some of the in-between stuff, just so I don’t burn out on my favorite tracks. In the times of Winamp and mp3 libraries, I’d just play my entire music library on shuffle. Years later, Spotify still has no equivalent of “shuffle all tracks from all saved albums”. Won’t anyone think of the elder millennials??
Anyone else share this sentiment?

I have a question about the medication Norethindrone. I have a vacation coming up on december 16 and my period is also due that day. My OBGYN perscribed me Norethindrone to delay my period like I asked. He prescribed me 0.35mg tablets that I was instructed to take everyday starting today (November 26) until the last day of my trip. However, all the sources I have looked at online show me that most people are taking a 5mg dosage three days before their period three times a day. I am nervous maybe he misunderstood me or tried to brush me off because im not sure if this will actaully delay my period or not due to the small dosage and that it is considered a birth control and most birth controls do not stop your period
He is currently not in office right now
Im not sure if i am just overthinking or if this is indeed not the correct dosage to get my period delayed.

2024.11.27 00:30 SovereignOne666 I don't get why DOOM 64 and PSX DOOM are seemingly so popular. I mean the games (and particularly their music) are just so bleak
I can enjoy like a few levels of these games, but after that, it feels a bit "overwhelming". It's like I'm on a journey into the darkest pits of my soul, or more specifically, on a journey to kill myself and that's just dark, man.
Does anyone else get uncomfortable playing DOOM 64 or PSX DOOM for an extended period of time? I feel like the music of Aubrey Hodges is creepier and more depressing than the music of Trent Reznor, or at the least his Quake soundtrack. Definitely not a fan of Hodges' contribution to DOOM for the PS1 and DOOM 64, but I give him kuddos for creating such dark soundtracks.
